I’ve been amazed that our media portray the ‘Arab Spring’ as something positive – democracy in action. All that is happening is that their national stability and leadership is being replaced by Islamic fundamentalism, which will bite us in the a$$ bigtime in years to come.

I am generally against hanging aircraft but at least its kept the Spit with its original paint.To repaint her would be vandalism.Not too many aircraft left with their original WW2 paint.

Somebody will be able to confirm, but looking through what I have it might be 43-38052, 366 BS/305 BG. Lost due to flak over Cologne on 17 Oct 44 with 7 killed, 2 POW.
