It’s criminality, pure and simple.
Don’t forget that the paint is probably stolen, and public and private property has been vandalised, all taking taxpayer’s money to put right.
Years of hard labour in a brutal chain gang might make amends…
Great to start the morning laughing out loud. At least a lot of these morons probably won’t survive long enough to reproduce themselves…

Fascinating – thanks for posting! It’s great that she is in good enough condition to restore her in an original condition, rather than a repaint, etc…
To management these days, experience means the member of staff has been in the job too long, and gets paid far too much. Get rid of them, and employ a youngster for half the price.

Good luck with the restoration – there can never be too many Hunters!
We’re busy repairing and restoring F.1 WT660 at the moment, and I must say it’s very absorbing to research and uncover her original colour scheme, markings and stencils – great fun! She should be ready for a repaint next year.

Spooky – I hadn’t seen the movie for decades, and bought it a few weeks ago cheap in HMV as a triple disk with ’12 O’clock High’ and ‘The Blue Max’.
I enjoyed seeing the other two again, but apart from the actual shots of Mossies and Maria Perschy, thought 633 was utter tripe.
Considering the actors involved (with the exception of Chakiris!), and the film prop assets they had at their disposal, much, much more could have been done.
Maybe I’m too cynical, but could the US deal have anything to do with the Harrier being taken out of service so prematurely?

Dunno about most successful, but she’s certainly the ugliest…
