I would actualy like to see some of the Legendary tanks drive down the flightline before the show satarts.

Where would you get them from? You have got rid of the Tank museum!

And someone please hide that damm American air museum and tank museum.

As for your ideal weather conditions!

A good safe airshow with some good weather, no crosswinds. As many Hurricanes as possible coming in from somewhere.

Any comments on the Spitfire programme, BBC4, 7:00.
Made in 1976, introduced by Raymond Baxter and featuring some classic characters, including Bader, Johnson, Tuck et al.
I don’t remember seeing it before, it must have been first broadcast the year I first moved down here and we didn’t have a telly at first.

It seems to be shown every 10 years on the BBC around the time of the anniversary!

    PT462.

If only they would change the wretched paint.

    Mark

But even when Charles Church owned it, it had a colour problem…

Ollie, you really need to get your Nikon working…

The photo’s you have posted need improving..

4 of them are either out of focus of have camera shake. Two include a self portrait. On you have shot into the sun. And one, somehow you have managed to get in focus on the right hand side and looks like camera shake on the left!!!!!

Remember, Practice makes perfect…. keep practicing…

Interstingly, Invicta Aviation have 2 OV-10B BRONCO’s registered in the UK. G-BZGL and G-BZGK.

If these are the 2 at Duxford, then G-BZGK was put in a hangar today. Leaving G-BZGL out on it’s own.

    Thanks for your comments Neil.

So you are not aware of any change in the position of the second cockpit..

    Thank you.

Great site by the way. I love the added sounds…

Can I ask a technical question?

Hopefully this is one for MK12 or Neil Metcalf.

In a recent article in the avaition press, the way I read it, it stated that PV202/IAC161 has been rebuilt to the exact T9 spec by Vickers!

    By raising the second cockpit?

As I say I may have misread it?

Does this mean that the other 2 seat Spitfire second cockpits are not as originally designed? (apart from the canopy)

It looks like one of the Fly-ins held at North Weald..
The way the aircraft are laid out, it is not an airshow..

I know that 3 of them are at duxford. When i was there for the tsr 2 roleout i saw 2 of them. I guess iac158 is under cover in the hangers. And then i saw a photo of another 2 seater on another tread.

    No Ollie. Pay Attention..

    As previously mentioned by DazDaMan.

IAC158, commonly known as MJ627, lives at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire….
