Forgive me, but the aircraft in the background look like Beech 18’s??
Glad to be of help…
That’s two good deeds this week. I’m exhausted…
Glad to be of help…..
That’s my good deed for the day…
The link does not seem to work..
Try this….
I’m no expert…..
But it looks a bit P40..ish to me.
According to the web-site
A Hawker Hind..
Any reason to doubt them???
The Fw190 hangar picture is actually one of mine ( see http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/sh…?t=40232&page=1 ), or “Neilly” was standing right next to me as I took the picture. It is the example hanging in the IWM at Lambeth.
If you look at both images you will notice that although they are clearly the same ‘picture’. Suprisingly the Copy actually shows more of the image than the ‘original’.
Perhaps it was copied somewhere else on the web???
Anyway here is that aircraft now…
I fr one would like to see one fly.
Exactly what I said!
I put it down to experience…………
a German selling on E-bay…
Must be a con……………
Great pictures as usual BUT…..I am intrigued.
In the 11th picture, the seafury landing picture.
What is the red car diong in the background?
It looks as if it broken down.
Just pulled off the M11 because his engine was mis-firing? Does it belong to the people in the background by the trees?
OR
A little old lady who has run out of petrol? And is standing at the end of the runway trying to thumb a lift?
OR
A dumped get-away car and they are tring to hot wire a plane?
What do you think?
Thanks for that.
I for one have just subscribed.
It reminds me of Warbirds Worldwide (which I have every copy).
I am looking forward to my first copy..

I have found some pictures from the Torbay Museum from around 1980ish

What about now????
Just to prove nothing is safe…. People are watching…
I did say it was only a suggestion…
Okay it would benifit Uk based entrants, but there seems to be enough ‘Names’ from the warbird industry appearing on this forum to help arrange prizes for people in other countries if that is whats needed. Even a years subscription to Flypast…. I don’t know..
Any ‘prize’ would show these guys that we appreciate what they are doing. A way of saying thank you.
I take pictures for a living and I have seen some pictures that I would love to be able to say ‘I took that.’
