Feel it would be best to cancel another major event this weekend as a mark of respect. You all know what im talking about.

A bit of a knee jerk reaction, if you cancel one then you’d have to cancel every single event in the UK this weekend. Business as usual should prevail, to show resolve not to be intimidated by these people with maybe a minutes silence as a mark of respect.

One exception maybe the commemorative events scheduled for London on Sunday, considering the damage done to the transport infrastructure. It would be great for it to go ahead to stick two fingers up at the terrorists, but logic may prevail and it will be postponed to a later date.

Duxford for me is the ghosts, it has an atmosphere that is hard to explain. You can almost see Bader stomping around the hangars, or the guys from 609 warming up their Typhoons. The aerial display is just an added bonus and maybe this year I’ll get to see more of it.

I have a photo that I use for inspiration when the rainclouds of life weigh heavy on my shoulders, but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate to post it here.

I know it’s that one you took of me at Chailey last year, I knew you looked up to me, but I’m chuffed that you aspire to be as great as me. It takes time but you’ll get there in time. 😉
