Good point Geforce, however where will the buck stop?

At present there are several levels of law court in the UK ultimately ending with the House of Lords. The right of appeal goes all the way from the County Courts to the House of Lords which gives the ultimate ruling. Where will the European legislature fit into this? Will Europe be able to overturn a ruling by the house of lords?

On a completely different tack, it’s very nice to see that the IWM hasn’t forgotten the contribution made to historic aviation by cones – they’ve mounted one in the back of the new site transport.

Amazing what you can do with a Transit van and a hacksaw.

And I’m sure he attended with politeness and courtesy, drove with care and showed consideration to other road users as all MG drivers invariably do.

A real gentleman, I slaute him and his plus fours.

Ian, are you banking on it being a long drive back from Yeovilton?

Not sure what you mean by that, I’m no where near Yeovilton

JDK is a nice bloke with a good choice in pipe tobacco and comfortable slippers. He drives a sensible car that can be fixed by any blacksmith in the country and has a fondness for all things P51.

On a more serious note, if that’s possible.
Who was flying the Hurricane on Sunday?

Charlie Browne I believe, Clive Denney was in BM597.

I’m not a lawyer but I think I’m right in saying that England, Wales and the Irelands are probably the only countries in Europe who use Common Law for the basis of their legal system as do the US and most of the Commonwealth with one or two exceptions.

However Europe uses the Civil system, which I assume EU law is also aligned with. Therefore for Europe to impose it’s laws on the UK won’t it mean that eventually the UK will have to gradually adopt the Civil legal system?

“Infamous” Snapper more like. Though I do believe that he’s a leg-end in his own bathtime.

Can you name another famous person in history that insists on eating peanut brittle.

I note that Flood has finally revealed himself to the masses. Please put the mask back on.

As I understand it (and if I am wrong I humbly apologise; should have taken notes…)
(L-R) Snapper (THE Goat Boy!), Von Perthes, Vanessa (Mrs Andy in Beds), Robbo, Mrs DHFan (just hidden), Steve Patterson, DHFan, MikeJ, JDK (at back with drain coming out of his left shoulder!), Andy in Beds, Andrew O, EN830 (“Biggins”), Ashley, Steve Young, Flood (with camera to his face – too bad it wasn’t turned on…), and Learning Slowly.
For the sake of those whose faces are not visible please can the other pic (taken by who’s camera I remember not – it is all a blur…;)) be posted, ta.

    Flood.

It’s amazing how Flood avoids having his photo taken,

We left Dx at 19:00 and arrived in Weymouth at 22:30 with a 40 minute stop at a service station on the way for plastic road kill. According to the AA website it should have taken us 3:45 hrs and it’s 197.70 miles.

We appeared to have averaged 69.79 mph. The only hostility that we encountered on our journey was from a the driver of a VW Golf on the A351 near Dorchester who took umbrage at being passed by a MPV doing 90 mph. It must have scared him that much it blew his baseball cap around the wrong way. Anyway he instisted on racing us to get to the single lane carriage way before we did, he was peddling like mad.

Naturally I’d prefer to kill us and not be killed by some pfy with an ego problem so I backed off and let him win, pity we did have the yellow peril. 😉
