I’ve seen Klimov, DB and RR engines along side each other.

The Klimov was simple but well built, the DB was over engineered such as needle bearings where clam shell would have been just as good, and the RR engine with 40 technical manuals.

It always appears the the British would bolt something together and hope it would work.

how about asking TVOC if they would like to bring their little toy.

    That’ll be a short airshow then :-

“Ladies and Gentlemen from your left the Vulcan will do one pass”

“Well there you go folks, along with budget, have a nice day and thank you for your support”.

Thanks for posting Jack, though I’m sure we’ll have to wait to hear from Swindons very own colour scheme aficionado and Corgi replica advisor to confirm that the colours used are correct and to his liking, before we here in the UK can endorse this repaint 🙂

I’ve been using a 1D Mk3 since July, in conjunction with a Sigma 70 – 200 F2.8, and the 100 – 400 L. I’ve had no focusing problems that could not be attributed to the user and have found it to be a great camera.

A selection of shots can be found here, the majority taken with the 100 – 400 here

My image and one other are currently corrupted by severe cropping at the bottom. I suspect the revenge of EN830.:)

I’m gutted my stealth picture didn’t win, however I have better and more productive ways of exacting revenge 😉
