With hands as steady as that, have you considered brain surgery as a second hobby?

I have always said that given a chance anyone can turn their hands to anything. I could do brain surgery, I may kill a few people on the way but in the end I think I would get the hang of it. Want to volunteer ? 🙂

5 year old Canon 10D, 100-400L ISM and no tripod. EOS1d Mk3 should arrive in the next week or so.

For every reasonable one, there are at least 10 crap ones.

Is it me, or is it your camera, that C17 looks to be the wrong shade of grey.

while laughing at the general delivery, the constant references to ‘this is how we kill Iraq’s with Gatling guns and bombs’ was a bit much.

Strange I didn’t hear her say this, was this Saturday or Sunday ?????

The A-26 is supposed to go to Fairford on July 14-15, Eastbourne Aug. 16-19, and Duxford Sep. 8-9.

The Hi Viz is a long bipolar debate, which has been done on these boards before. If you want to continue, I’m quite happy to bat the subject over into general discussion.

    Subtle as ever, Rob 🙂

Black Kettle, Calling Pot I believe. Do you own a tennis umpires chair as I think you should climb down.

Who actually cares and does it matter whether Hi Viz jackets were worn or not. It certainly didn’t taint the day for me and the present Mrs EN830. I must admit the post show whinging doesn’t get any better or different.

I went Saturday in the end. Generaly i enjoyed the show., it was nice to see the P39 fly so often. The only grouch i had was the one pass LN-WND and the Staggerwing made before landing. I was most looking forward to seing them fly and i was disapointed in one pass before landing.

Where were you Ollie, I seem to recall both making several passes.

I thought the F15 display was fantastic. And for people who didn’t think a jet should be there, it performed BEFORE the start of the show and the traditional Spitfire start.

Who cares if the tradition was slighly altered to accomodate the F15 it was a great weekend with some superb flying. Congratulations to all involved.

    A Big Thank You

A big thank you to everyone who took part in the Raffle on Saturday evening, we broke the £200 mark, and if all the outstanding pledges come in we could be in the realms of £300.

Special mention should be made to the guys and girls at http://www.ops1940.homestead.com who not only had a whip around to bolster the coffers but also made the atmosphere at the Red Lion something special with their wartime renditions.

The was also a group of German pilots from Hamburg who joined in the fun and also put up with my very un pc reaction to them announcing that they were German.
