This morning we saw the departure of the Red Arrowâs 12 Hawks.
And the Blades.
Which brings to an end this years Jersey International Air Show and the Summer. đ

Just pulled into the car-park, when Martin Willing in the T28 flew over in formation with the Gnat. I managed to fire off a couple of quick shots. Didnât quite get it though.
The Huey left not long after on its track up north.
Next out were the BBMF, who hadnât flown in the display the day before due to the cross winds.
Pink Lady returns to France.

A few more from the display on Thursday. No apologies for the quality of some, still getting use to the lens.
As mentioned the AN2 Colt, put on a lovely sedate display, and ignored the display line all together.
As promised a couple of the Huey going trough its paces. What it really needed as it appeared, low, from just behind Elizabeth Caste, was the Flight of the Valkaries and Robert Duvalâs immortal line, “I Luv the smell of Napalm in the Morning”.
Belgian F16 was one of only two pieces of modern âheavyâ metal on display.
The Harrier GR7 was the other:-
Going back in time to Swedenâs first Jet Fighter, a long distant and cropped shot of the SAAB J25Tunnan. I was hoping to catch a better shot at the airport later, however it either didnât land in Jersey, or, I missed itâs departure altogether.
Shooting into the sun played havoc with the exposure, but did produce some âinterestingâ effects.
