for instance, coprophagia, is far less likely to seek help due to the very nature of the addiction wouldn’t you agree? Regards, kev35

In some people that’s not so much an addiction as part of their job, for some others the reverse is true.

I guess you found giving up the rubber catsuits quite easy then, EN830? I think you’re over-simplifying things.

Never been in to rubber, I would look like a large rubber ball dressed up in rubber.

Addiction is only in the mind of the weak willed, anyone can break an addiction give the chance, without the need for therapy, psycho- analysis, or social workers.

F37/35 was the Air Ministry Specification for the Whirlwind, it appears that R J Mitchell was working on a design for this specification in the last year of his life.

I wonder if Alex’s summary of flying 12,767 aircraft is any kind of record ?

According to Sigh for a Merlin the serial numbers tie in with Mk V’s, the serial of the one that he nearly lost his life in “EP615” was reallocated to a MkIX. Alex suffered quite a few Skewgear failures, certainly more than two. In all he made 127 forced landings at Castle Bromwich, not all in Spitfires.

Alex Henshaw did it on many an occasion, I’ve also read about pilots gliding back to the UK from France, given enough height.

Yep, I took time out last night to re-post them from photobucket.

It would be interesting to do a comparason to other “Virgin” airlines during their start up periods, such as Laker, I wonder how many times they changed routes and made different announcements before finally settling on the ones that suited them.

Latest news :- this page is under contruction. 😉
