    Katie Hopkins

She sums up everything that is wrong with celebrity culture. Awful, awful person.

With such political turmoil on their doorstep, surely it’s prudent for the Russians to be on high alert?

I don’t even think they’d go for sanctions. There would be a lot of ‘huffing and puffing’, it would be condemned, but nothing would come of it.

I agree that it’s unlikely this will escalate into all out war. But, I’m sure the same was said by many 100 years ago…

3 Do not let shed loads of Ukrainians into the UK on the pretext that they are fleeing oppression!

That’s what’s going to happen when the Ukraine joins the EU anyway, we might as well let them all in now.

But, the legitimate government were overthrown in an unconstitutional manner, and a part of the country clearly want to separate.

IMO, there are no bad guys in the politics between Russia, Ukraine and Crimea, it’s just an awful situation. I’m embarrassed to say that the bad guys in this situation are the EU and the USA, and I blame EU expansionism for the current mess.

The first two sentences of your second paragraph summarizes exactly what I think of this vile man. A textbook example of the ‘champagne socialist’.

Looking after his members interests? He siphoned that much money from HIS members, that he became the wealthy elite that he had spent his life demonizing. The man was a hypocrite of the worst kind.

I think the thing to remember is that the ‘Big Bang’ wasn’t when everything was created from nothing; just when the universe changed into its current form from whatever form (or lack of form) existed before.

    This.

I would say that Islam is now the major religion in the UK, and that there are fare more practicing Muslims than there are Christians. I think what we really need to be asking ourselves is should religion be allowed any influence over our laws?

Given that, taken to the letter, the teachings of Islam are incompatible with our values, I would say no.

On the other hand, why should it be okay for individuals to discriminate on the grounds of race, gender or religion, and not employers?

How many of them are practicing Christians though? Most just pay what can barely be considered lip service. Most of the Muslims I have known in the UK at least pray regularly.

May be some truth in it may not–but anyone who gets hold of the BBC will have a very powerful weapon.

The BBC is basically the propaganda arm of the Labour party. The bias towards the left on the BBC news is shocking.

Charlie – i really think it was a case of Jump or pushed, she had pretty much made the Tories unelectable and she was so detested .

I think that is purely a side effect of how long she served. Can you imagine how unpopular Blair, Brown, Cameron, Clegg or Miliband would be after 11 years in service? Churchill was probably the most loved man in Britain during WW2, but it didn’t stop him from loosing to Atlee.

I don’t think she made the Conservatives unelectable. On the contrary, Labour were totally unelectable.
