For whatever reasons, apologists and revionist ‘historians’ are trying to undermine the importance of Britains contribution to the allied effort in WW2.

Having grown up in Elvington, I’m all too aware of the sacrifice made by many French servicemen, in the defence of our island, and I’m eternally grateful to them. However, many French do resent our actions, and there is certainly an undeniable dislike towards the British in a sizeable part of their population.

According to The Green Party, they’re about to win more council seats than UKIP

I reckon that’s worth a sizeable wager in UKIPs favour. 😀

The teachers, who of course came from these ranks, were themselves completely hopeless, and could not write a grammatical sentence so, what chance did their pupils have?

And it’s getting worse. I personally know several newly qualified teachers, and I wouldn’t want them teaching my hypothetical children.

What I’d give to see that P-51C in RAF markings, with a Malcolm hood and invasion stripes 🙂

A dream that I doubt I’ll live to see realised 🙁

Which model of Mosquito would be the first question. 🙂

Perhaps the issue was that he had covered himself in a highly flammable substance?

I feel sorry for the officers involved. What the hell has become of this country?

I’ve been asking on the BBMF Facebook page, and the only response I get is that the page will be updated with any plans 🙁

It’s getting a bit too close now.

    .
As an adult, I question everything, and accept nothing without reading it first. Is that so uncommon?

    Bruce

I’m much the same, unfortunately there seems to be plenty of ‘adults’ in the UK who won’t accept responsibility for their own actions.

Infact, you could probably describe many of the late Baroness Thatchers detractors in the same way.
