One example of where the EU is shafting the UK:

My suggestion would be a formal ‘Anglosphere’ partership between The USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, (and other nations, such as India if they agreed) headed by the USA. Geographically positioned to exploit trade all over the world, with no language barrier. Similar ideology and defence interests.
No doubt some small minded person will accuse me of being racist, merely for suggesting some common sense.
Britain is “great”, Europe is far from it. Italy can’t even elect a government, the Facists are taking control in Greece, Spain is verging on civil war, and any of these countries could take Frances economy down with them.
Poor Germany is having to bear the strain of all this, and we’re still throwing money into a system that can’t work.
I would much rather Britain be a minor US state than the kicking boy of Europe.
No matter how much good intention there is, you can’t just throw people of different cultures and backgrounds together and expect everyone to prosper.

I make no assumptions about other countries making up a trade deficit.
I said we have other partners we can strengthen our relations with.
Even if there was an overwhelming financial argument to stay in Europe, I would still want out.
Why des everything have to be about money?

And again, YOU have resorted to insults.
Infact, you have contributed nothing to this thread. You have continuously ridiculed other people’s opinions, without presenting a realistic alternative or solution.
This is generally the way of socialists though. All stance and no substance. 🙂

I’m hoping that she will fly at Breighton and complete her mission started in 1944 as a tribute to all her crew
Fantastic to see that shape back in the air 😎
Ah, insults already.
Always a sure sign that someone isn’t all that confident in the strength of their argument.
I’d have more luck nailing jellly to the ceiling. :p

Unfortunately for the Europeans, their biggest partnerships are with each other.
We have credible alternatives as trading partners, and they know this.

That seems a terse (and rather rude) response to a perfectly reasonable and civil question.
Perhaps you are reluctant to reveal the source for some reason, or have simply forgotten where you got it from.
Either way, there’s no need to take it out on others.
He got it from UKIPs website (no joke! 😀 )
It is confirmed in the European Commisions own site though: http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/statistics_explained/index.php/Extra-euro_area_trade_in_goods

Classic Doublethink.
Ignorance Is Strength. 😉
Don’t use them all up, you’ll be out of beer mats soon :diablo:
