Well done Martin, what a great achievement. Excellent website too. I might have to take trip with you soon. Any discount for airline staff? lol.

I think it looks good. The front title could be a bit bigger, but not a lot if you look at the Q400 and 146.

The big difference is we aren’t used to seeing the length of White between the two titles as the wing and engine is usually in the way.

Mine was GLA to LHR in 1973 on a BA Trident 3. Back a week later on a BAC 1-11. According to my parents it was on one of these flights that I first said I wanted to be Cabin Crew.

ps: Speedbird 12T, I think your Dash 8 would have been a CityFlyer ATR 42 or 72.

    Mark L and Bhoy,

Thanks for that. I thought I was going to have to go through all that again, but you saved me the trouble.

    bmi Boy,

I knew what you were trying to say even if some of the the others weren’t quite with you.

Glad all that has gone on at work since 9/11 is paying off.

I take it FlyGlobespan is connected to Globespan the Edinburgh tour operator that bought Excalibur then ran it into the ground using this old DC10.

If so, I’d be worried about a DC10 arriving if I worked for GSM!

Looks good in GSM colours though.

    DK999k,

Apparently it’s going to be on 757 G-CPEM (not G-CPEL as originally planned).

Don’t know how accurate it was but the impression of it I saw at work had the image stretching from just behind the 1 door to just forward of the 4 door, with the wing directly below the centre of the globe.
