you’re a bit behind the times. It was released a while ago. There is a thread already somewhere….
100% reproduction. Built by Northrop ?? It was radar tested too. It was a really good documentary and a really good repro.

Bravoalpha has connections to the YHPG at Aeroventure……
damn!:D
The last one looks like a very poorly Blenheim Mk1
Dont forget about the crack on the nose leg drag brace. Be bloody careful guys…..
I live 500 yards away and no-one phoned…. how odd….
I’d want to have a look at the forum before committing to joining or taking part – adverse politics are easy to spot… 😉
Anyway, back on track… since the tail is alot more accessible, how about de-skinning the corroded panels and sending them up to me so we can get them replaced?
Pointless having a forum that guests can’t read…. can we have some pics on here please?
Whats happened with this rapid thaw? Is she supported?
Well, its your team. Its not my responsibility to ask if I can supply the Vulcan with suitable skins. The offer is still on the table for now. I’ve said before that I have the metal to re-skin the worst parts of the fin. If you don’t take it up soon, I’ll find another use for our resources. I’ve waited almost 12 months now….
Yeah its on in the background. It makes for good comedy. Nice Harvard though!
Again, I offer the use of our workshops to help repair the damage.
The APU was fired up, hyd systems operated. Never engine runs since the RAF disabled most of the aircraft….
T-Bird?…. you were there at the time..
Spock, for once we agree….;) on everything! Did you see the pics of the rear cockpit compartment when it was delivered? The RAF removed almost everything and most of the fuel system in the wings. Its a miracle the APU was run at all. Hats off to the guys who did that way back when.
When we ‘restored’ the main legs a couple of years back, we removed as much of the corrosion that we could, HOWEVER the structural damage to the oleos remains – in reality it would need the legs removing to do a proper job.
It is interesting to see that the bogies pivoted as they should have after so long immobile. 319 is at less than her minimum dry weight, (AAPP removed, most fuel tank components removed, and considerably less metal skin than there should be!)and the snow shouldn’t have had too much of an effect on the legs. The problems will come if the seals have properly dried out and leak when her position is corrected.
Take care and lower it VERY slowly!
