One more question. I know the Teichman Hurricane is a Mk IIb. Is it RCAF 5403?

Did this Hurricane have any test flights in the UK?
Thanks, Dennis
So – all ready for Oshkosh? I hope so – there is still a possibility of getting two Hurricanes there and both straight out of their respective paint shops!
Unfortunately, there were no Hurricanes at Oshkosh! I asked one of the Lone Star Flight Museum crew who was standing by their B-25 and he said “it’s still being painted.” This paint job is taking a VERY long time.

Can anyone put anymore pics up?
Here’s a few more

😮 it looks like they have all been abducted by either a UFO or a large bedspread :diablo:
🙂 The Tillamook Air Museum is housed in a huge wooden WWII blimp hangar. Since there are many birds way up in the rafters that like to use the aicraft below for “bombing practice”, most of the WWII vintage warbirds are displayed in a big white tent along one side of the hangar interior.

What is the derelict airframe sitting on the floor behind the He-111?

Sad news indeed! My condolences to the pilot’s family and friends. Another big blow to the jet warbird community. Here’s a few pictures of the award winning aircraft from Oshkosh 2005.
