    Move it to Mildenhall!

One of the few shows I can still smell 🙂

Oh and they’re welcome to bring it to Biggin, as we only have one airshow per year round here…

Tony, what Mark 12 doesn’t know about the world’s surviving Spits could be written on an ant’s kneecap. Probably a very young ant too.

I just hope we can record his entire memory (like Joe 90) for the benefit of future generations 😀

a formula that appeals to a lot of people… churns it out repeatedly without bothering to try and improve or refine it.

They did some flypasts over the War and peace show at Paddock Wood, Kent while I was there today. Even more of a bonus when you’re not expecting it!

    Nice and low too 😀

Hi Tony, nice to see a fellow BH resident!

According to the people behind the Biggin museum campaign that I spoke to the other day, the museum will be getting SL674 back for display if/when it opens.

No deeper info than that I’m afraid, but it would be cool if you get to re-enact your wedding photo.

Personally I’m looking forward to seeing it again, I remember it well as a kid.

As I stood at Farnborough today luxuriating in the Vulcan ‘howl’, Dr. Plemming’s salary was the last thing on my mind…

I just felt immense gratitude and pride for everyone involved.

My mate who works there assures me it’s in the queue awaiting its turn, They have many projects and only so much resources at any one time.

Despite living here I never got to see it once…

    Heard it though!

It was nice going to bed at night in the knowledge there was a B17 at the end of the road 😀

    Happy landings liberty Belle

When I went to Farnborough in 2006, snapping for work there were loads of general pubic on trade days. I think you can just pay for an admission ticket on the gate and go in whether it’s a public day or trade day…?

Avoid the M25 – I queued for two hours (from Orpington) just to get to the A3

Considering that it is just a one off permission to fly, I do think the title of this thread needs changing.

Agreed, apologies folks for passing on a semi-false alarm, but great news anyway.

Have a great Waddington those who are going, my turn will come… at Fairford and then Farnborough soon after 🙂
