The Indian Helicopter team are parked up, I’ll have a look on my way home and will post if anything interesting is there.
How often do you manage to get UP to 50 mph on the M11?
It always seems to be jammed when I’m on it!

Very nice – a friend of mine in Southend has one of those. Imagine finding that one with its history!
Good to see the numberplate clearly – that could make a useful reference for my German chum.
Cheers

Thanks Grounded, have you got a photo album with any period shots??

Thanks all.

thanks Les, much appreciated.
A sunroof split full of Supermarine’s finest…
That’s got to be the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time!
Thanks for that! 🙂
Here’s mine:
have you any pictures of your ’50?
Thanks Mark 12
hmmm… looks like a ’47
I’ll forward the photo to my friend. (I’d love to see more if you have anything) I just need confirmation of the colour! Something in the back of my head suggests that Uk military ones were all green regardless of the service they went to but I need to pin this down.
I’ve got a 1953 split window – I just came back from a weekend in Germany in it. (But that’s not relevant here!)
Don Bennet’s “Pathfinder” does it for me
Im pretty new to the aircraft world, But all these posts taking shots at the preservation group remind me of the railway preservation scene.
It’s the same thing on virtually any forum, there’s always a few, even on the physics forum I frequent!
It’ll be Mark at the helm, but I’d like to see it too.
TA805 with Clive Denney at the helm left Biggin this afternoon at about 4pm and returned at about 17:30. I was right at the end of 03 when he came back in 🙂
A rather nice Auster followed him in.
Me too – I’ll be on ‘rapid response’ watch this weekend!
