I’ve provided my aircraft at big expense in the past to have a photographer offer to “sell me” the pics of my machine. I won’t be doing that again. 😡

If I want a shot of my car from a rally I’ve competed in, I have to buy it from the photographer. I prepare and enter my car at great expense, but I don’t expect free stuff from anyone as a result.

Have you got any of the Javellin that used to be at Manston – I used to spend hours clambering around undernreath it when i was a kid. What happened to it? – did it end up on the fire dump?

Easy. If the wheels have a series of 12 circular holes round it, it’s probably a Mk. 5. If it doesn’t, it’s probably the wartime version.

I guess they’re more used to covering celebrity scandals, or party leadership contests, they’re a little out of their depth on a specialist subject.

makes you wonder how much of what is generally broadcast is erroneous.
