Depends what the scanner is set up to do – they can scan to a variety of formats.
I’d double check your settings, you will probably find it’s set to .tif
you can ‘relable’ it all you like, it won’t change the actual file format, just the name!
Sehr interessant, vielen dank!
I’m with Moggy on this, that book is the only one that has summed up for me why I fly.
As others have said, narrowing it down to one book is tricky, but Bachs stories in the above book strike a chord with me.
On the strength of these two recommendations I just bought it on amazon for a penny!
Plus postage of course.
Looking forward to seeing what ‘all the fuss’ is about.
I ‘want’ that square filled in. That’s where I live. 😀
Me too!
I live down in the valley – I’m keen to see what was where my house is now as there are some remains of it still in the back garden.
Podington airfield is completely missing in the 1945 view, just fields where the base should be, but the shape of the trees surrounding it are correct, same as they are today, just no airfield.
I need the square with Biggin Hill 1945 filled in – it’s missing completely when I view it.
Interesting. Any chance of a transcript of the talk that went with please?

Flight Lieutenant Antony Parkinson

It was particularly nice to have AB in as it was based at Biggin in 1942.
