Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Christian Brothers.

Almost no idea what was being said but the songs are good, interesting scenes in London and Katrina Kaif in Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Other than this is the Historic Aviation Forum? 🙂

It is historic in a way because Thorium is/was used in jet engine construction and missile fuselages

Have to say that I buy on auction a lot and only one auction house I’ve used uses the maximum bid in the way Paul describes, in fact, they use your maximum as the opening bid. Not sure if that’s legal but I don’t use them unless it’s something special.

All the others have their own view of the opening bid and will use their normal advance to reach a selling price which might be your maximum bid but might not

I remember sitting in my office on the phone to a colleague in Liverpool when it arrived in London. The colleague was also into aviation and didn’t believe me when I said I’d just seen a Sunderland flying over. I walked home over Tower Bridge and saw it sitting there in the Pool of London

Anyone know for certain what the thing sticking out for umder the rear turret is? I’ve seen it described as a camera, a flare chute and a tail radar. The last makes sense to me but I’d like to know

Previous plans have shown the heritage part to be lots of pictures and flat screens with a view out to the Red Arrows.

    Resurrecting an old thread.

I loaned some cockpit panels to someone, on this forum, for copying. Usual story, I need them back but no reply to emails.

So does anyone have any of the panels from the front cockpit port and starboard consoles and the quarter front panles for a Mk7 spare?

I can buy the instruments with luck but I’ve never seen panels for sale.

There was a Wallace fuselage up for disposal at Cardington when the RAF  museum cleared out, what happened to that?

I don’t do twitter either, I have a life, so:

    Attend as seller Yes
    Attend as a buyer   yes

Whether I attend as a seller is subject to Mr Khan’s ULEZ extension, if the boot is before that then as a seller, after the extension I might have to attend as a buyer only

Only attend an indoor event  Prefer indoors but would do oudoors

Would not attend”  Course I would

Most of the aircraft quoted by TerryP used the E2B or E2C, which had an internal light. The E2A was lit from the mountiing in the aircraft.
