Yes the Wildcat did, He ‘appered’ to drop out of formation at the top of a climb up at the tankbank end. and then come round the back of duxford and accross the crowd to form up again with the Hellcat.

It has to be Pacific fighters part of the IL2 Series, You can get them as a box set now and are highly recomended.

Or the greatest flight sim has to be Combat Flight Simulator 3 😮

Disclamer : what you are about to read is from someone as far away from an expert as you can get.

Best advise I Could give is try and get your self some practice before hand by going to Duxford before this weekend (should be somthing flying) or a local GA Field, If thats not possible then you can practise your panning techniques on passing cars (sounds weird but it works). 200 is a tad short for airdisplay work (I have 300 and im concerned about that) but If you stand at the tank bank or the M11 end you should be able to get some decent stuff to work with. I will aim for shutter priority (dont know what its called on Cannon) and go for between 125 and 250 of a sec (playing it safe).

Like I said Im far from even experianced in the world of DSLR photography but it all comes with practise (and some helpfull tips from the Pros on here) so dont be too down if your photos dont come out too well.

It will be a shame if she gets repainted as it is one of the most stunning schemes out there, But he can do what the hell he likes with it as long as he carries on flying it.

TFC Glad and Spit have had engine runs but no test flight yet, but there is still 6 days to go so everyone keep everything crossed.

Sally B is still minus Engine so it looks like she wont be taking part despite some very very strong efforts on there behalf.

[QUOTE=DazDaMan;1258989]If I could afford it? Yeah, I would. It is, after all,a car. QUOTE]

See this is the attitude that I was talking about if you walked outside your house and someone had keyed your car you would be p***ed no matter what it is no two ways about it, I drive a 10 year old Ford Puma. Could I afford a newer car, Yes I could, I drive the puma because its nippy and handles great, Just cause it isnt worth 40k dosnt mean I wont get annoyed if someone bangs it,hits it or acidently falls in to it.

It is my property and the whole ‘it dosnt matter its a car’ attitude is S**T!!!

To be honest I was thinking that as well, I understand you didnt do it on purpose but just because there was a fiesta and a 106 either side of it dosnt mean they deseve a stone chip more than a porche, Im guesing the people with the fiesta or 106 might not have quite as much cash as the Porche owner and would probably not take to kindly to anything happening to them.

Like I said we understand it wasnt on purpose but some of the responses to this stink.
