Lovely shots, You’ve got panning down to a fine art
The hatcam view was probably quite similar to this
Quite Similar but not exact:rolleyes:
Great photos and prop blur, what camera, lens and settings were you using.
Tks Simon
Thanks for the comment Simon, I was using a Sony A200 with a Sigma 100-300, and the settings were between 125th and 160th of a sec Shutter Priority, ISO 200 with a +1 Exposure compensation whadayathingy.
This is probably a daft question really, but seeing as it occurred to me I wonder why it hadn’t occurred to you.
Why did you persist in taking pictures of the hat? The hat was largely stationary whereas the aircraft moved in front of you both before and after the hat. With that being the case you had many opportunities not to take photo’s of the hat. I just wondered why you took so many of the hat. Apologies of course if was the hat that you were trying to photograph and NOT the aircraft.
Some very nice pictures there, sans hat, and very nice to see for someone who didn’t get to Legends now for the second year running.

No I wasnt trying to take photos off the hat it just happened that I took a lot of photos of it, they are all at the end of a ‘burst’ of pics of the aircraft on take off.
And here are Sundays efforts

A diffrent kind of Hat

I appologise for the lack of hat im sure I will be able to post some more next time im at Old Warden.
At the moment, 1%…:o
Still trying to get to grips with the DSLR.
I ment I was happy with 10% not that they were any good:D
I was quite happy with around 10% of mine from Duxford:rolleyes:
And you missed Nick telling you it wasn’t him.
Thats why I swayed away from Manonthefence.
Do you mean your ‘the MAN ON the other side of THE FENCE clue’?
OOO I like the ‘Stangs over the B17’s but I think you should start your own thread.
That last one is a stunner.
So whos hat is it then?;)
Not enough hat…
