Not applicable to you Jim but shows what rubbish so called luxury cars they make. I have a friend who went through this in the 90’s with a previous model

They finally admitted the problem in the UK and fixed them FOC if the owner complained enough!

The metal pipes should not move, that is why they are connected to “flexi” flexible pipes to the suspension and steering.

Thankyou Gilles for clarifying that for me.
My cat is scared of birds especially Robins, if she sees and hears one she runs straight into the house and growls at Jenny and me. As for mice which seem to live under my shed she just watches them scuttle past her.Still I like animals and birds so I am happy with that.

Jim that fault in the bodywork is just what you have seen by chance. I would have a good look around and see if you can find any more. When you take it back ask them to put it on a ramp and have a good look around with an inspection lamp and ask if you can join the engineer as well. If they don’t let you find an independent garage who don’t sell cars to have a look for you.
Going back to the good old days I used to watch car panels that were manufactured in Swindon sitting out in all winds and weathers before being stuck on trucks to Longbridge!

I will be interested to see what is recovered. Is it likely to be the entire remains of 2 aircraft? I would have thought that would have required a very large effort to dump it all and clear the area of all the wreckage?
And you crash because the brakes don’t work.

Should have bought Japanese Jim! Seriously that is crap and I would really tell them to take it away and replace it otherwise pics and complaints by you will be all over the net.BMW try and portray themselves as a quality car manufacturer.I think googling the net will show you what they really are now. Just sorry you have got landed with it.
