No, Keep our noses out and let them get on with it. Its like interfering in family disputes you end up getting a black eye from one or both sides.

I rather enjoyed that programme,I learned a lot. I would not fancy being the spotter lowered on a couple of thousand feet of rope with a telephone though!
Thankyou for your advice. I used to have six rescue cats at one time. I now only have this one. Giving pills used to be easy but this cat is not playing about. She is 22lbs in weight and has the strength of an ox,you ignore her at your peril when she wants feeding or she will bite you if you don’t,great at 3.00am . As cats go she will only eat felix meaty morsals and turns her nose up at beef, chicken, prawns and Tuna. So that’s your idea out Moggy(she is the only cat that has never got excited over Tuna) I managed to get the pill apart last night and powder it into a syringe with water and after a couple of goes she has had it. 28 more to go! Vet said they are not modified release so that was OK.3-4 years ago she put my wife in hospital for a week with cellulitus for being to slow in feeding her ! Still if you are a cat lover its part of life and we love her. I just wish we ran the place not her!
Having said all that she is scared of birds and if a Robin so much as cheeps at he she runs straight into the house and hides and then gets annoyed at us. Baz remember the problem I had with Starlings a couple of years back?(your advice shifted them) I thought the cat was going to have a nervous breakdown over it.

My cat has just cost me £138 this morning because she has cystitis
£114 for the consultation and the rest for medication. If I had gone before nine it would have been £166 plus medication. This is with a 10% discount for pensioners. I have just had my hand ripped to shreds giving her the afternoon pill. 29 more to go so a rethink on that is in order! Still if you love them it has to be done! Why does she always choose a bank holiday to get ill?

Tony like you I did NI and the living with some of it still haunts me from time to time. British Military Training is the best in the world IMO. I would go so far as to say I would rather have a “Rockape” watching my back than a soldier from any other country.

I am sure the bereaved families are pleased they had something to do!

I have just spent an hour trying to fill a colander with water. Completely useless I told my wife it would never work!Still it makes a good cheese grater once you have managed to grind through the packing! Colliers Welsh Chedder with a miner and his pick in black packaging.Still better than prunes on toast I suppose!

Catch 22. My wifes mobile had a fault and the screen said “unregistered phone” I took it to a local guy who has a stall next to tesco. He said that the sim card was corrupted and flogged me a new sim card for a £1 with the advice buy a top up card from tesco. I did that and the phone rang in ok. Tried to put the £10 voucher from tesco on the phone using 150 and 146. All I got was a pre recorded message saying because I had no credit icould not talk to them.
Also on the phone before the corrupt sim card there was £8.60 credit.
T Mobile now have £18.60 of my money and I have sod all.
