I feel you pain. I did the exact same thing about eight years ago.Lost a lot of books but was quick enough to save my Fathers log books. Water went straight through the ceiling and into the dining room and kitchen. I was not popular at home for some time to say the least. To anyone thinking of keeping fish please get a proper stand and the latest style “floating base” fish tank. For those who don’t know what that is. It is a tank that rests on the four sides only and the base does not touch the stand. I was far from sure about this at first but thats the new thing and it works!

Sorry if I am not impressed with the way we spend money on our history. HMS Plymouth in my mind would be a far more fitting memorial to a war that seems to be largely forgotten along with those who served in it.

I am stating a point and I really don’t expect many to agree just perhaps understand that I would like to see a fitting commemoration for those who died and bear the scars of that war(sorry conflict)

Of course trumper thats what its all about hence my oblique reference to work makes you free. Not that I advocate gassing them, just my final solution. Deport them and give EU law the finger.
