I wonder how many lifeboats this one will have and will they be open to the elements?

I have nothing left from my childhood years but my memories.
Buying the Airfix Spitfire when it first hit the streets(2shillings or 10p for the nippers amongst us) also the Southern Cross and Ferguson Tractor 3/11d I wish I had the forsight to put those away!
Every Saturday morning rummaging through Woolies counter looking for a new release and the joy of finding one.
Still in my old age back to model making and a better job of it this time!

Nice collection Peter! I have not seen this thread before. Another true modeller who uses a “hairy stick” to good effect. BTW do you have a fettish for Lightnings with overwing tanks?:)

I would go for satin varnish, I don’t know if you spray or use a brush. I use Humbrol satin varnish 135 in a rattle can over acrylics with good effect.
Warning don’t spray to close to the model with this let it drift on from a distance.

I can’t remember which Police Force it was (Surrey I think)but on the Channel5 News tonight they stated that a girl did make an accusation of rape at the time and the Police did not persue it. They are now going to refer it to the Met and reopen the case.
