My theory always has been if you cut prices you get more customers whatever it is you are selling especially in hard times. I cite the increase in the number of “pound” shops as one example.

Six of my friends went on a “stag do” to Blackpool from Bristol. It worked out at £220 less to hire a stretch Limo with booze thrown in than going by train. That also covered the drivers overnight accomodation! That also guaranteed you a very comfy seat. Yes the railways need investment but how many people want to pay spiraling fares to knock 30 minutes off a 3 hour journey not your average passenger I am sure.

I find watching the ISS really facsinating as it glides silently overhead. As for Meteors My neck will kill me if I look up for 30 seconds or more. I have considered sitting in a reclining sun lounger but SWMBO said it would just confirm my neighbours assumption that I am bonkers!

I buy what I need not what I want. I need a mobile phone it is 3 years old but I can make and recieve calls yes it has a touch screen and lots of other gizmos but frankly I have no idea about them,so the phone stays until it breaks. I had to buy a flat screen Tv last year as the ten year old CRT gave up the ghost.
I have just purchased Double glazing for my house because despite having the wood being painted every three years it has had it(23years not bad though)

What gets me is everything I have to purchase comes from China a Communist Country!

I wish more money was ploughed into busineses in this Country instead of starving them of capital to expand just in case they go bust! We have the brains and expertise to make things here if the backing followed. What would that do for this Country apart from create employment and wealth, reduce our trade deficit an perhaps give us a surplus in the long run.

Our last spanking good idea of trying to make London the financial capital of the world worked out well didn’t it?

This post was created using a computer made in China with a mouse and keyboard made there as well and checked by looking at a screen while sitting on an office chair made where? Yes you guessed it.

The press report on the Lossiemouth Tiger incident states

A spokesman for the UK Air Accidents Investigations Board said they were aware of the crash but did not intend sending investigators to the scene.

He said: “Subsequent enquiries will be through correspondence which will involve writing to the pilot and anyone else involved.”

    Is that normal?

So what if you don’t have a data plate and the aircrafts history has been muddied? If you have the September Flypast you know I am refering to”Fragile but Agile” Is that a genuine P51 a “bitza” or what?

Well Daley got a bronze after all the hype and money put into swimming.

The Cinderella sports who were not funded or at least underfunded have got us Gold. So it still shows that sacrifice, guts and determination to win not cash is worth more than a cheque book but it should make life easier for some.
