I have been fortunate enough over my lifetime to have owned some pretty exotic and expensive cars. I have also had the misfortune to have had some crap.(mainly French)
I now own two cars that I can’t fault for reliability. Both are old Ladies now but they don’t look it or act it!:D
First one, 1992 Honda Prelude 2.2JDM Vtec BB1 Auto with all the toys.Bought 2003.
Second one. 1992 Toyota Lexus Soarer 4.0ltr V8 Auto bought2011 with the amazing engine that was developed for the Lexus LS400. Honestly you cannot hear it running even when giving it a bit of “welle”
This replaced my Subaru Impreza which I had for 10 years and the only reason for sale was due to my health problems I could not drive a manual car with rock hard suspension any more.
I love Japanese cars, regardless of manufacturer and the same with their bikes. The rest of the world ignored the threat and many makes perished because of this.

Right bring on Harry! Still a sorry state of affairs that an Italian has to stand up for the principle that a man is innocent until proved guilty!
Is John Terry guilty? is lipreading admissable as evidence? or will this be another waste of the taxpayers money?

Just as importantly if not more importantly is the last paragraph dealing with the delays getting the rescue appliances to him which which people on this and other forums commented on.
Yes I was one of the people that commented on that.
In response to concerns, from onlookers and other pilots, that the airfield emergency vehicles seemed to take a long time to attend the scene, the display organisers and the airfield management found that there had been some uncertainty over clearance to enter the aircraft manoeuvring areas. The procedures have now been changed to require immediate suspension of aircraft activity on the ground (and holding of airborne aircraft) in the event of a similar incident in order that emergency vehicles can be certain that they will not conflict with flying operations.
Hardly a ringing endorsement of procedures in place at the time!
