Strike? When are teachers going to find the time between “in service days”and long holidays. Seems they start at 9am and finish between 2-30 or 3pm around here. Don’t forget they will have to fill in a 30 page health and safety risk assesment for making signs for demonstrations. I have just thought banging nails into lumps of wood for the signs, don’t even go there!

If I really said what I wanted to on this subject it would probably run into a page and a half. Some members here would have a fit of the vapours and I would end up banned.:D

I heard that the folks at Finningley were talking about all manner of grand ideas. Somebody claimed that they had even mentioned getting a Harrier flying (as if!).

I think they’d be better-off concentrating on getting XH558 back in the air next year without dreaming about any other ideas!

I was told by someone who worked on Harriers that it was(is) the most labour intensive aircraft in the RAF’s inventory to keep in the air!

If anyone breaks into my home while my wife and I are there I will defend her,myself and my property by whatever means at my disposal. If it means using my bayonet letter opener:) or any other heavy object I don’t care. If the intruder is crawling away I will go on hitting him until he crawls no more. I am 66years old ex para and can hardly walk so I am not about to challenge anyone to fisticuffs!

If my actions protect my wife and I end up in the slammer at least I will get the medical treatment I have been waiting for since 2010 as a priority and my teeth fixed FOC.

and I think the guidlines should be in favour of the victim not the poor underprivileged scum who’s only way to make a living is to steal from and terrorise honest people!
