Now the airplane doesn’t look so bad from this angle…

Plus check out the 3D spin-the-airplane page. It’s really cool.

It looks ready for a starring role in an aviation-disaster, B-rated movie.

Good opinion piece on the University of Michigan’s daily newspaper: Click Here to read

    Excerpt from the article:
As the story on CNN.com points out, “According to U.S. officials, (Yusuf Islam) is an active supporter of Muslim charities.” I’m sure Islam has been ducking and dodging officials and channeling funds to these Muslim charities and that it took Homeland Security years of spy work to uncover what he was up to. Or maybe they just visited Islam’s Web site, http://www.yusufislam.org.uk, where there is a list of the charities that Islam donates to, among them Small Kindness, which provided aid to 2,500 orphans in Kosovo and residents of Turkey who were devastated by a recent string of earthquakes. Sure sounds like a terrorist to me. The nerve of this guy, trying to provide “regular meals, housing, education and healthcare” to poor nations and to “make a real difference and bring about positive change to many people’s lives.” Thank goodness our government’s putting an end to that.

Oh, don’t you know? Islam is the new “touch of tar” for Americans, and Muslims are the new “Nig*ers”…

It’s quite chic to verbally bash them.

Besides, may I add (as a Pak), that I am (and we are) not of Middle-Eastern origin, but that of South Asian. It’s like calling Aussies “Indonesians” just because they share the general vicinity.

The show has Heather Locklear and Blair Underwood. For those not familiar with these names, Ms. Locklear’s speciality is adding sexy spitfire energy to any soap opera. “She’ll claw and scratch her way to the top” is the statement that comes to mind. Mr. Underwood has had one running in some daytime soap and his accomplishments don’t even stand out.

The first episode was more about the two trying to sabotage each other’s careers rather than the goings on around the airport.

Nope, still working on a livery that would meld the “traditional” with the “modern”.

However, RP Abraham, another designer, has created a livery. Take a look:

I think that Air Scandic livery was devised after an all night session in a bar somewhere

…using nothing but MS PowerPoint 🙂
