I like Sandy’s drawing. It’s simple yet captures the gold and reds of the flag. I’m working on the fuselage colors of my design. Look out for an update 🙂

I remember being a kid and making the connection between an ancient viking ship and the old livery on an SAS 741. It was like an epiphany! 🙂

As far as the new colors are concerned, well, look at the source. It’s the airline of Scandinavia, so what if it looks a little Ikea-ish… 🙂

Great drawings as can always be expected from you Sandy 🙂

I will say that these livery suggestions lack uniqueness. As many mentioned, the 1st one reminds of PIA. I would say the 2nd is not too different from the current one and has actually gone the KLM route. The 3rd’s fuselage is too reminiscent of United’s new colors. Just my 2 cents (not worth much with the Euro climbing
    :))

What comes to my mind whenever I think of a fully streched upper deck are: Fuel, and baggage. Is an average 744 already filled to capacity when it come to these two factors?

Hey, did’nt I ask for candidness? Thanks so much for the feedback. Sounds like the tail is the most popular and the red roof is the least. Thanks for the what’s-wrong-with-the-gray bit, Sandy (oops). This gives me good information to start making changes.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I never thought that the barge would’nt be a popular item and thought that probably the cartouch would be poopoo’d upon (goes to show how biased the designer can be 🙂

Seahawk, At most, I can make the fuselage cream (ala Saudia and PIA). A gold fuselage (like GulfAir?) would completely hide Horus’s head-gear (the part that’s draped below the tail)

    Thanks again.
