I think there’s a movie going on over there as it is -with over 10,000 Rambos running around…
Nothing wrong with that. I am quite enjoying this visual cornucopia about Kai Tak.
When asked: “Why do you want to work for this company“, never say “well, I love to travel” as part of your answer.
The company is looking at what you can do for them. Hearing that you’re looking forward to using them to jet-set around the world is not exactly going to give them a very good impression.
Hey the livery looks good in cool blues. I must say though that the colorscheme is very un-Indian. Come to think of it, same could be said about all of India’s loco airlines.
PS: I just realized that actually Pakistan’s local airlines have a very un-Pakistani look too…
What’s with the grey nose?! Or was it put on because the original one needed replacing?
Gees’O Petes! The camera is priced at US$1,300.00…
I think I’ll wait for that oil well discovery in my backyard before I go shopping for a EOS-10D.:(
WB, I create my own templates. If you would like to do the same, here’s what you do:
Take a line drawing of the aircraft (I’m providing the RV-7 here for you)
trace over in Macromedia Flash to create a vector diagram
layer with rendering and highlighting to make the drawing appear 3D
Once done, lock the shading layers and color away on the base drawing.
I’ve only worked with Flash so not sure how these instructions would translate into your favorite graphics app.
Alternatively, you could just work with MSPaint and just using this drawing play with different liveries. The final image may not look 3D and polished, but if you’re just looking to get an idea of what would look nice and don’t want to put blood and sweat into it, this is the route I would recommend.;)
Y’know what?! I would’ve thought that most of the members were airline brats like myself (parent as a crew member). But y’all are a normal bunch!! 😉

…but if Sabena had been the perfectionists you claim perhaps they would still be in existence?
Not really a robust theory. Sometimes the perfectionists, with their obsession with details are the ones who come crashing down for a lack of seeing the forest for the tree.
Is it an RV-7 or a 7A?

Well!! It ain’t much, but it certainly isn’t so boring that you have to “iawn”!!;)
Just kidding. I take it it’s something in Welsh?
Here’s an a.net URl for a pic of their 747:
From the same era…
Here you go Steve. Fitting the roo on the steep MD11 tail was tricky. But at least now I know how the folks at Qantas do it 🙂
And an IranAir MD-11
