The people at MAP need to get out more… I’ve been inundated with e-mails from those folks that range from “nice phallac symbol” to “shame on you!”… 😉
I am truly incensed! As I hear about the carnage of mangled metal and limbs left above and below the streets of London, then turn around and find out that a group -having the gall to call themselves Muslims (the bearers of peace), has proudly declared responsibility – Yes, I am truly incensed, not to mention ashamed and saddened that people who I’m supposed to consider my brothers in faith would do such a horrific act to innocent civilians. Need I remind these deliverers of misery, that most likely, many of the civilians whose lives they have managed to destroy probably opposed the war in Afghanistan; they were against their Prime Minister taking them headlong into a quagmire such as Iraq. Do they actually think they have managed to change anyone’s mind for the better towards their cause?
As a Muslim, I am infinitely disturbed at the way our religious traditions, our values about the sanctity of life, and our name is being dragged through burning embers, not by anyone else, but those whom our holy prophet said are supposed to be our brothers and sisters. These are the times for the rest of the bearers of peace –us Muslims, to stand up and declare that these grim-reapers are not Muslims –not in their actions, and certainly not in the true meaning of the word “Muslim”.
To the Londoners, I would say that my heart bleeds for each and everyone who got affected –for the husband who probably had told his little daughter on the phone that he’ll be there “in a jiffy”; for the young girl engrossed in the latest fiction novel completely unaware that she was hurtling towards the shadows of violent death; and for the little boy who probably urged his aunt excitedly to take the seat in the upper deck of an unfortunate bus…
To the cowards who will fight their battles not soldier to soldier but fanatic to innocence, I would say “pick on someone your own size”!

Kinda lowers the ‘Queen of the skies’, graceful image of the B747 when you see it dressed up like that… 😉
Well, perhaps they were going for that “Drag-Queen of the skies” look… 🙂
Makes it look more African than Indian.
What a bump for the pax in the Airbus!! Whoops-a-daisey… 🙂 A lesson that you should fasten your seat belt even on the ground.
Almost 767-ish. But superb work on the template, Sandy! 🙂
Oh no!!! 🙁
