I doubt that India really cares if Pakistan gets F-16As, 25 F-16s will probably do a lot in replacing a few older airframes in the PAF F-16 fleet and serve as attrition reserves, they really do not pose a threat to India, anything that does not have a BVR weapon does not, so please stop posting Pakistani related news items on INdian threads, we really do not see you guys as a threat when it comes to conventional war, this thread is ment for discussions about the happenings of the IAF, go post in the PAF thread at will about Pakistano things.
So technically there should be about 50 su-30s in the IAF inventory?
and how come this is IAF news Syed?
They are but trolls who have nothing better to do than to attack Indian threads
A recent agreement with the Russians for the Glonas sems to be a step in the right direction.
I always had the impression that the MiG-33 was a one engine “lookalike” of the MiG-29, it surely does not look like the FC-1 or JF-17 or Super & or Thunder.
I wonder what this has to do with aviation.
I wonder if you get jokes.
Tiger, quit your bs
I asked a simple question
The answer that was given to me is “Pakistan is involved in the project, we dont really know what exactly.”
I am simply looking for info on what Pakistan is developing, the only thing I got here is that just like Dassault in the early days, Saleem claims that Pakistan is giving advice to China.
You see I am looking for morespecifics, I am getting work work work and R&D, well work and R&D in what exactly, are they mostly helping or designing themselves or receiving training on how to assemble and intergrate things when they go back to Pakistan when production starts.
Dassault was a design consultant, I dont understand, are you saying that Pakistan is offering design advice to the Chinese?
I know of the pc, I am sure that Pakistan has obviously sent engineers to China, what I am asking is what is Pakistan developing in the project, involvement seems to be based on having engineers participate, ho much participation is anohter question, example of what I am looking for
Is Pakistan itself doing any work on the project alone or is everything done with Chinese assistance.
As far as I know an initial order of 16 Migs has been placed, this includes 4 trainers, I think that there is an option for 60, I am not sure though?
But the Gorshkov can certainly not carry more than 24-25 MiGs.
Russia is India’s most reliable ally especially when it comes to the field of technology sharing and joint development, INdia also believes that a strong Russia is good for the world. How is GLONAS compared to the American GPS satelites in terms of precision and capabilities?
I asked a simple question
What is Pakistan’s contribution to the project, beyound setting parameters and having its pilots fly the aircraft, daa, I expected as much, oh and beyound financing the project. What institute in Pakistan is actually involved in the project and developing what? Wing? radar, fuselage, tires, HUD? etc etc etc, I simply want a list of things that Pakistan is developing, I am not looking for comments that go besides the point.
When people say that Pakistan has some imputs in the project, may i know what those imputs are exactly apart from the funding and probably a few engineers going to China and being trained? What is Pakistan developing exactly?
So far the russians have officially denied an engine sale to pakistan, the engine will thus be either Chinese or French.
PAK wish list?
For once I agree with you lad, all I see is a lot of wishes, still awaiting for the big ticket purchases that these wishes entail. Then you can come back and talk.
