Arthur
lad
the LCA fselage, thanks Yahoo, has a chubby fuselage, as can be seen, hence more fuel, that is just plain obvious just by looking, sorry but ifyou can make the same conclusions about LCA nose dimensions just by looking, I can make so many more as well.
Yahoo could u just post the links to the articles, u can make your own summaries after, its just that I have a slow computer, I know that u are a nice guy, I like u anyway, help me out here. 🙂
😀 Yahoo thanks for the pics, it surely prooves that the Mk2 is better, nice work. 🙂 🙂 😀
Some people seem to be out of date, much of the flight envelope has alrady been tested, you can search this forum before posting nonsense like “it has not been tested yet blablabla”
Arthur you have yet to provide me with acutal nose dimensions of the LCA nose, opinions are great bbut unless you own a phd in being God, sorry, you have to do better, the LCA was designed to carry a Zhuk M sized radar, the nose debate becomes mute.
Yep an AM-39, I do not know if the black nudge is a RWR, bad vision, what RWR is this anyway.
You guys are relating LCA to whole Aviation Industry. So failure anywhere is LCA failure and success anywhere is LCA success just like that BJT. :p
Honestly can someone please give this guy a break, he is my friend. sorry Yahoo. 🙂
Balance of payment should not effect this project in any way as it is Indigenous.
There is such a thing as IMF bail out package and in order to get this you must follow certain steps, aka cuts in defence spending etc etc etc 🙂
I like you Yahoo, u are cool. 😀
The ALH new engine is still being worked on by the engine company of a certain European country, the engine does take the heli high up there, not the airframe design.
Both the J-10 and the LCA are using foreign engines!!!!! both these engines are proven!!!!!!!!
The Kaveri and ws-10 are not but will eventually come around!
seahawk u are confusing all of us.
seahawk you are confusing cheese and potato here, your logic says that since x did not do z, y cannot possibly acheave z either, rubbish. And what are you saying the Kaveri is delayed and did face problems and is doing better now, not well enough but better, and the ge engines will be used on all LCAs until the Kaveri is ready just like in the case of the WS-10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A certain Yahoo has already posted an article in the 80s where it prooves that the initial batches were always ment to be carrying American engines anyway, I’d argue that it was a bad choice and they should have gone for a Russian or French engine there but ba.
And it is you Arthur who is still stuck up on bringing down the LCA, there are obvious articles posted by a certain Yahoo 🙂 that clearly show when the LCA project started, one must learn to come here with an open mind and not live with false concepts, you wanted proof, a troll gave it to you.
The only thing that does not make sense here is the fact that there are two threads about the same thing, one about the progress and the other about if it makes sense or not, aka, these are similar threads and it is quite obvious that the same types of conversaitons are taking place, I wonder why the mods have yet to make two threads become one, especially when certain folks would congratulate those who complained about the nmber of Indian threads. 🙂
Wolverine
please do not bring the F-22 into this, certain trolls might think that we are comparing the LCA to the F-22, the F-22 is a fifth gen figher without any equal, period.
Arthur wher are you getting those LCA nose dimensions from
?
please provide me with a source, I actually do not have one myself….
Also the nose was designed to accomodate a Zhuk M sized radar, is that not big enough for the Tejas?
by the same lgic the J-10 too is a failure since it still uses a Russian engine, what kind of logic is that seahawk, the Kaveri will come when it comes, it has been facing problems but this year good news came about, the MMR is aparently ready and will be tested on the PV2 later this year, seahawk, did u know that a certain small European fighter took 10 yrs from first flight to enter service, the LCA is still doing fine, had you known about monsoon season in india you would realize that flight testing cannot be performed at the same frequency as in say December, have u ever lived though a monsoon, its not your average storm. There also seems to be a certain lac of knowledge around here but certain folks keep on farting the same nonsense, NO THE LCA NOSE IS NOT SMALL, IT IS ROUGHLY THE SAME SIZE AS THAT OF THE M2000 AND CAN ACCOMODATE A ZHUK M SIZED RADAR, get it right at least, the body is chubbier than the M2000, if the 2000 could become the 20005 xx then…..
As far as the aerodynamics, LCA performance has been judged to be better than the 2000Hs that the IAF currently flys by the test pilots, I do not know if they have tested it vs MiG-29s etc but I can say at least for the M2000, yes.
