Yes but we must make sure that we understand that the LCA has a cranked delta.

Either China refused to sell or the SD-10 is not ready yet or not up to specs, all three assumptions are valid. The article is funny though, I have no idea how this guy got his BJ dgree, a wonder plane? this super fighter? can’t he use better language than that. I do not remember Ukraine having experience to intergrate the AA-10s but you never know although I am shocked that the PAF would go for a missile that the IAF knows very well, I’d suggest French at least.

    oh yea…where???

“TW, if Pakistan has a nuclear deterrent, and its army is aimed solely at defending an Indian attack, then why do you worry about conventional “imbalance” when nukes are good enough to deter India?

Beacause we dont want the world pop. to fall to 4.5 billion..also its difficilut to trust indian Gov. given its record against Pak in last 50 years.

The higher the imbalance, the quicker the useo of Nukes..its not blackmail, its common sense, nukes are not only used for detterance, if detterance fail, one must go to next step…only India can force Pak to use nukes, the bal is in your court, not ours.
    .

” They did not have jihadi leaders making speeches about “raining fire” on neighbors while their governments stood silently.”

Freedom of Speech 😉 , i dont need to go back and remind you what bal thakery is upto…extremists to the point they wont even let Pak play cricket in India.

Anyway I’ll accept what Google said and quit the thread..no point anyway..it’s been hijacked by (no need to denigrate people’s ages here.)

There is something called google.com, something else called Encarta encyclopedia, now i want you to search on whostarts what war in the subcontinent and get back to me, now we can kindly move on form such topics and hope that all these threads end up in an eventual aquisition, the subcontinent airwar scenario is getting kida boring anyway.

Non Nato ally is all politics, if the US was interested in Pakistan getting better aircraft, it would sell its own F-16s and not let Sweden sell Grippens where it could only make some cash on engines and maybe Amrams.

people here seem to be saying that x is superior to y without giving any reason, my goodness, Pakistan would need a fighter that can carry nuclear payload anyway, the Grippen would not be made to carry these, hence as far as the PAF is concearned, its just plain dumb.

PLA just a clarfication about your JF17 comment, it is Pakistani sites that have the 75-80% as capable in aerodynamics as an F-16A, Indians get this from your OWN SITES.

I never said that the MKI was better or worse, I ASKED YOU WHY you made this statement!!!

Okay, lets see compare the structure, avionics, engine, flight envople, performance of JAS-39 and SU-30 varient. That’s if you know what you are talking about

Is it because the PAF has expressed interest in buying it or would you like to share with us, you know, like details as to why you came tothis conclusion.

I could not figure out how Australia would view India as a threat when they do not even figure in our millitary plans

The first gen PLAN nuke boats are noisey and low in number. The USN I am not worried about.

Still some time before they have numbers of them in service though, even if the first Type 093 is indeed already in the water.

Noisey SSNs and speculation don’t worry me, and it shouldn’t worry India.

With regards to China and India, I would say its tit-for-tat. I was referring mainly to OTHER Indian Ocean Region nations that might not view India’s new fleet ambitions, and power projection in the same positive light the Indian high command sees.

Which country in the Indian ocean wold that be?
The US has not shown any unwillingness and to be frank, if the US can have a Navy worth its while in the Indian ocean, so can India, what Indian ocean country will mind bar Pakistan of course, mauritius Maldives? Sri Lanka? Kenya?

Well I believe that the Bengali Lancers? were one of the best regiments of the entire British empire, also true that the regiment memebrs are from different ethnic groups, my uncle is Punjabi but was a member of the Madras regiment.

But rememebr that the Bison will have an R-73 with an off bresight shot, even close range fights will be tricky for the F-16A.

The F-16 block 15 should surly have the edge in a dofight unless it is carrying bombs, we know how manouverable the F-16 gets when it is bomb laiden. But at BVR, as the Bisons prooved in cope India, with ECM like the Tarang etc, the MiG-21 should obviously have the upper hhand.

Punjabis on average do tend to be bigger and taller, them and Rajastanis tend to form part of the warrior group of our civilization
