Overall Portugal played a better game, England took out Gerard and it was over, they tried to pull off an Italy, too bad, watch the game again, its the team that had the possession and played the better game that went through. Wait for the World Cup.

So wait a sec here, the replays clearly show Terry’s shoulder against Ricardo’s, he is definitely blocking the goalkeeper’s way to the ball, no doubt about that, inside the box, the goalkeeper always gets the call his way, this happens in every single league including the Premiership, live with it. England played well in the begining but just face it, Portugal attacked and attacked and England defended, its stupid to think that you can defend a 3rd min goal!!!

yes and we are over analysing everything, the US is happy and the IAF is happy, we did not care much to test our full potential and had many a restriction imposed on us by the top brass, to me the most important thing to come out of this is the fact that the Bison performed quite well, a potent BVR fighter in deed.

Whats irritating is there are 5-6 Indian threads, some even onb teh same subject, such is the thirst for self congratulations some have…..

Dear PaF FAN, alex is not Indian, go message him and tell him that 😀

Now I am all for merging this thread to the US pilot thread.

p.s flez and seahawk are not Indians either 😀

Besides this thread surely beats the “getting F-16 spare parts from the US” threads.

First, they already was a large discussion here which showed several proofs that the Elmendorf Eagles were AESAed.. It is the first time I hear that they were not..

Second, even with the slotted APG-70, the radar of the F-15 would be superior to the Cassegrain-type N001 of Su-30. Third, the AA-10 India uses ain’t nothing like fire-and-forget..

Everyone who is a bit into aviation knows that.
Therefore I don’t give this article any credibility..

lol I guess that we have proven that the N001 radar of Russia is better than the APG-70 of the US. My God and you folks led us to believe that US radars were much better.

Again seahawk let us compare the Su-30K radar to the F-15Cs, the IAF also flew under restrictions so I fail to see what clear advantage the IAF had here, conclusion, both sides learnt a lot from each other, we all know that the US has good pilots, this exercise simly proved that the IAF has some good ones as well.
rest of it, we are making too much out of this story.

We should consider merging this thread to the how good are US pilots thread, its the same topic anyway, why bring down other threads. 🙂

Fisrt off since when was the SU-30K radar better than the F-15s?
The IAF was also flying with full restrictions so what is his point?

Wait I think it was said somewhere that it was developed from the Yakhnot-M, is it better than it really?

Why else would both sides spend their money on developing it if they already had access to a better missile? 🙂

Don’t worry the Gripen deal has not come good but I am sure that Libyan Mirage 3s and 5s will tilt the balance in South Asia, no need for fight back threads. 🙂

In any event detente is on, relax, good times are ahead, make love not war.

Actually you never know Flood, it could actually work

    Picture this scenario

Indian General found guilty by his own people and fired, nah that won’t work
    how about this one

General M launches an attack across the LoC in 99, his army beaten retreats, the whole world condems the action saying “GO BACK TO YOUR SIDE”, a few months later the General decides he does not want to be a general anymore, President General suits him better, oops here goes the elected PM again. If you think that the American dream is something, try out for the Pakistani army, it will get you to power no matter what.
Wasn’t General Musharaff involved in the Saochen defeat in the 80s anyway, wan’t he a commando then, oh my how times have changed for our good General.

The Grippen humiliation really hurt and the intellect of Farrukh speaks volumes of what we have to deal with on afm, my God, just because Saichen is on top of a mountain does not mean that its modern millitary aviation related!
If you want to make fun, at least do it right!
