a thing to note is that Russia has updated its GDP calculations from whatever baseline they were using earlier and they are enjoying good growth and stability these days, per IMF data they are clawing their way back to the $1 trillion mark. data of April 2005, they are around $800 bil GDP just ahead of India.
so the “RU doesnt have money for xyz” argument is nearing end of its lifespan. Ru will increasingly have a lot of free cash as black sectors of the economy are cleaned up and regularized by comrade Putin.
They have superb talent in sciences as seen in results of international competitions like ACM, with money available one can expect big things from RU again :diablo:
India and Russia have an almost equal real GDP figure, INdia’s stands at around 820B USD (at an outdated base year which will change soon) as per the Finance Minister, the concept of Russia being poor is outdated, they are doing very well economically.
pac3?
The Air Chief has already said that the IAF will order 40 planes, this was said a few months ago AERO INDIA anyone, the reporter thinks that 3 months later a formal order will be placed, perhaps in the PAF where airplane aquisitions take weeks but not in the IAF. 🙂
One wonders if the IAF chief must reconfirm that he will order 40 LCAs every week in order for the pakdef crew to believe him….
The Grifro 7 fire control radar detect range is around 50-65kms, not more, just because the PAF is interested or buys something does not give it 100 more kms.
China will not attack unless it think that it can win. It does not take a genious to figure why it has not done so yet.
Their limited resources in terms of their most capable ships that they CURRENTLY have.
Northern Western Frontier, I am sure you knew what I was talking about
I did not see what the Chinese OR INDIAN NAVY has anything to do with the PN either………
but one wonders what part of that sentence you did not understand?
“btw the Chinese Navy is irrelevant, they do not pose a threat to the IN simply because most of their limited resources are put up against the Pacific fleet and will never send a full forfce detatchment to the Indian ocean.”
One Saichen commando in 86 even became a President general. 😀
and Muhamed ji
the officers responsible for that incident which you mention have all been punished. Accidents do happen sometimes right?
Just like whenthe PA surrounded a few terrorists a few years back in the NWF area and then “accidently” let them slip away. 🙂

Finally guys please do not stude down to the level of the crew around here, the Gaznavi was a sub with sailors who were engaged in an official war, not like some terrorists who crossed the border in the 80s till today. They should be respected for doing their job and I wish them the best in heaven.
Companies outsource to become more productive and provide goods at a cheaper price, this is the fact on the ground and outsourcing is actually a science now, you calculate wether you should or not based on cash flows etc, not on greed, unfortunately i fear that labor unions and the inefficient left has done a better job at portraying companies as evil capitalists than companies have at telling the simple truth. Harvard has a Masters in Outsourcing, perhaps some members should look into it and learn more about how outsourcing is but a financial tool.
If people do not realize the benefit of millions getting cheaper prices and the creation AS I POINTED OUT of thousands of jobs in other higher paying sectors but would rather want back the lower paying jobs? weird, then go vote for your local Marxist comrade. there are plenty of jobs in England, outsourcing and free trade has created morejobs in England than it has taken away, there will be 700000 jobs in London alone in 2010 that will not have enough people and they will hire foreigners. THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE LACK OF JOB OR THE GREED OF EVIL CAPITALISTS THE PROBLEM IS SKILL MISMATCH DUE TO IMPROPER RETRAINING WHICH ITSELF IS DUE TO A BASKET OF REASONS, THATIS THE FACT.

My goodness, in the US customer service calls tend to be free for the most part
you dial a 1800 number, its sad that its not the case in England, must be the bigger market in the US which lets US companies afford to do such things.
And as for accents, again, I think that as posted above, the problem that you mention is getting better, much better now, either an Indian call centre can accurately and efficiently do the job and I have pointed multiple evidence and surveys to showcase this or as I POINTED OUT 10000 times, Indian companies themselves are making sure that services continue under their contract by hirering UK workers. Its still cheaper for you and for the Indian company.
Finally people seem to have a misconseption here, when a company is profitable, its not that they are so greedy and so Uncle Sam like that they outsource anyway, companies outsource because they face long term competition, take long distance phone companies for example, there is a huge trend of internet startups, calling cards, other LD companies comming into the market after deregulation etc, long term profits and competitivity do not look promising, this is why companies outsource. YOU KNOW THERE IS A FINANCIAL CALCULATION BEFORE ONE OUTSOURCES AND IT IS NOT BASED ON CURRENT PROFITS BUT RATHER PREDICTED OR ESTIMATED LR PROFIRS AND CASH FLOWS. IF these companies do not outsource, your BILL WILL GO HIGHER NOW, this is why they have to cut costs so that you pay less.

A certain class of ship that PN currently owns also saw its worth in the Falklands war, how pathetic its performance was as well.
Syria tested 3 scuds last week and North Korea aparently has developed solid fueled missiles.
the average age of PN ships and submarines is alot less than Indian counterpart. just look at number of IN submarines. i cant believe anyone is 20 year younger. 85 of 140 IN ships are ready for retirement.
Still obsessed about the IN and anything Indian are we? Why else always bring it up, what a complex you have.
