You must read wrong, though I know where this one comes from.

    http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?$=main/review/mig21/mig21.htm

The MiG-21 should roll a lot faster than 90 degrees a second but this is within the first 90 degrees, so this is a mis read. I think what it should mean it gets the best control authority within the first 90 degrees. It is said in a TV interview that the MiG-21 rolls so fast you actually risk the plane going out of control. F-16 is screaming around 325 deg/sec within the first 90 deg, though this says nothing about the roll rate past 90 deg.

Mirage III can deal with MiG-23, just as F-86 is able to shoot down MiG-21s,

    Something interesting.

there was no F-18E in operations anywhere in world in 1995. and on paper where show me the specification.

Who cares. RD-33 is a smokey and unreliable engine.

    any source for that?

What is your source that the Swedes were ever impressed with the MiG-29, when the Gripen owned it.

When u have 40% wage growth in a year. It is almost impossble to find workers to build things. as workers are attracted to higher wage jobs not stick in government plants.

    Does not matter.

When i count the russian immigrants wealth right from 16th century and how much wealth they have. accross the world. it will be shocking. Gazprom is officially bigger than toyota in Market Value and it is still not fully floated.

Bull. Show me total capitalization of Gazprom vs. Toyota. Why don’t you actually check Russian immigrant wealth against Chinese ones. Chinese immigrants literally control the wealth in Southeast Asia, and along with Indians, the most prosperous immigrant community in the west coast of the US and Canada. Just count the sheer number of Silicon Industry companies with Chinese and Indian faces.

U Chinese always claim that Chinese economic growth is due to Hongkong/Taiwan investments. Now what about Russian immigrants than? and that includes the most powerful Jewish groups on this planet.

Lol China still has the highest FDI rates in the world, followed by the US. Jewish lobby in the US is not BACKING Russia but investing in Israel. You think that the Jews, after having been prosecuted in Russia for so many times, have sentiment with that country?

U should understand this thing. The only Reason Japanese are sitting on earth but Chinese have Reached Space because of this. it was this old Bush decision that led to supply vast tech to China, India Cryogenic engines and Iran and which was reversed in 1995 by Gore-Chernomydin.

You are the one who don’t understand anything, just how much wealth is in the Far East. China got its technology from all over the world, little of it actually from Russia outside of the military circle.

here is that Fusion that u started claiming Chinese did the pioneer.

Maybe you should check who has the bigger TOKAMAC now eh?

As for the rest of your articles, a lot of it is marketing nonsense. YOu have no idea if Asian women can be Siberian or coming from the former Soviet Union republics. Asians build the biggest buildings in Moscow. not just workers, but construction companies and engineers too. So why can’t you build modern sky scraper on your own? As for women, remind me next time when you go to Roppongi red district in Tokyo and you will find lots of Russian prostitutes there.

Euler is German, Marie Curie is polish, and Alfred Nobel is Swedish. Seems to me you want to take credit for things you don’t invent. Now that’s getting to be really pathetic.

those days are gone for ever.
That is nonsens. Check the PAK-FA thread. They even have higher thrust for VVS. and efficiencies and drastic cut in man power? from where this is coming from.

PAK FA is currently marketing hot air. It’s not hard to spew numbers you cannot empirically demonstrate live to a customer now.

Only 1 million armed forces are left compared to 5 million in Soviet times and all are concripts only 150,000 will be all Volunteer.

1 million is still far too big for a country with this low industrial GDP (less oil and mineral revenues).

5 million used to include a lot of non Russians.

[edit] The Russian military under Putin
When Putin officially assumed the presidency in 2000, the state of the Russian military remained much the same as it did when the Soviet Union collapsed. Many of the weapons and equipment used by the armed forces were nearly a decade old, but reliable and powerful, such as the AK-74 and the Dragunov Sniper Rifle, and would not need to be replaced soon. Corruption was also a problem, seen among both officers and enlisted men. During the First Chechen War, the Russian military had insufficient funds to purchase more up-to-date military equipment, such as the Kamov Ka-50 “Black Shark” attack helicopter. Paratroopers were also unable to adequately train jumping due to a lack of fuel for planes. Putin, realizing these shortcomings, characterized the Russian military as “an unwieldy and extravagant military machine.” At the time, military and law enforcement expenditures were accounting for more than a third of the country’s budget.[15] Early in his first term, Putin sought to reduce the military size by up to 30%. Putin also sought to improve and better organize the command structure of the 12 individual agencies that maintained their own establishments in 2002.

    30% reduction eh?

    http://www.jamestown.org/publications_details.php?volume_id=24&&issue_id=2090

In an article published on August 30 by the Moscow Times, the well-known Russian military analyst Pavel Felgenhauer (for his analysis of Russian arms sales figures see the Monitor, August 29) casts a critical eye on the manpower cuts envisaged under the Kremlin’s current military reform program. Official Russian sources today peg the strength of Russia’s regular armed forces at about 1.2 million men, and claim that planned personnel reductions will lower that figure to 800,000-850,000 by the year 2005. But Felgenhauer, who is reported to have good contacts within the military, disputes both these figures and the military and political leadership’s real policies with respect to military manpower issues. In a nutshell, Felgenhauer charges that the armed forces will never get down to the approximate and well-publicized 850,000 figure because the armed forces today actually number closer to 1.4 million (he provides the figure of 1,365,000). And this means, he says, that even if the planned reductions take place the army will still number about one million men. Indeed, Felgenhauer charges that military leaders–with the knowledge or acquiescence of their political counterparts–have understated the real size of the Russian army for nearly a decade. And if such lies obscured the partial failure of earlier manpower reduction efforts, he argues, then why should the same thing not happen again under President Vladimir Putin? In this same context, Felgenhauer also argues that since the demise of the Soviet Union Russian military leaders have consistently tried to maintain the size of the armed forces in hopes that the “bad years” would eventually pass and that they could then restore the army to its former glory. He suggests that that sentiment is alive and well in Moscow today (Moscow Times, August 30).

Does not sound like the military is genuinely reformed.

U are only reading that obsolete doctorine of PLA that is still using 5 decades old J-7/JH-7 and submarines, nuclear forces that belong to 1950s.

And yet China did many things like getting rid of PLA private businesses and transferred civilian control duties to PAP.

and u have serious problem in Measuring wealth.

You are the one who is completely deluded to think that Russia is richer than Japan.

A country is rich when Country is either Income Tax free or government takes smaller percentage of Income tax from Salary. I know the answer but u havent provided anything.

Which is true of Hong Kong.

    Certainly not true of Russia.

    http://www.russianembassy.org/RUSSIA/civil_code.htm

    Profit tax 38%
    VAT 21.5%
    Minimum personal income tax 12%

Your profit tax is as worst as the US ,and your VAT is much higher than Europe.

and that $900b that u claim for Japanese are mostly invested in US bonds to keep interest low so people can buy there products. They cannot use that money like Russian where they can just buy Pipelines/Natural resources from Central Asia and sell it at higher price to West. Both EU/China were the end loser because they cannot bring cash to the table

    Lol, Russia income tax free?

Only in your dreams that Russians do not pay taxes.

    http://www.deloitte.com/dtt/cda/doc/content/russian%20guide.pdf

You have no idea that a lot of this is still very expensive. VAT rate of 20%?That makes me sick.

How do you expect to maintain the still bloated armed forces? You have no idea where the Japanese invested their 900 billion in reserves, and its not all in Treasury Bonds but also in Eurodollar and other assets.

The thing is, Japanese make their money out of intellectual labor and skill, and all you do is pump oil from the ground. Heck you don’t even have the technology to do that without benefit of Western company help like Schlumberger.

I have yet to see anything Chinese indigenous product. u can see Kamaz truck that won 5 out of 5 of Paris dakar rallies.

But no one buys Kamaz truck right?

Japanese spend fortune in 1980s with Mitsubishi to achieve this in SUV class. so where was Chinese machinery? and all those IL-76/MI-17/Flankers/MIG-29 that takes thousands of hrs every day accros the world. Are they not world class?

When you race you always spend a fortune. Don’t think Kamaz didn’t spend for it either. No problem with IL-76, Mi-17, Flankers and MiG-29, they are still justly reliable. But look at the Russian car industry, name something that they are exporting with. How about the ship industry? China has 18% of the world global output, with over 2,200 vessels around the world. Outside of Japan and Korea, the rest of the world is competing for the remaining 12%.

Nonetheless, IL-76 is not considered among the most reliable of jetliners (having an accident record) and not very good with maintenance either. You don’t see a lot of customers for Russian civil aircraft like Tupolev or even for Antonov. What they have is a niche market.

China cannot make superior engine and tank to Ukraine let alone Russia. 1500 is just paper specification with questionable reliability in actual desert operations.

China isn’t using Ukraine engine for the ZTZ-99, which is superior to the MBT-2000. China makes its own 1500hp engine. MBT-2000 is only 1200hp.

Chinese sources and leaks? what is there credibility.

There is enough credilbility in them by record because they have proved it, in the declassification of several PLA projects not just the J-10. So now, even top defense periodicals got articles reflecting and copying material that is first quoted in Chinese sources (e.g. KD-88 missile).

If chinese were transparent. There wouldnt be any call from US for transparency. They even sign contract with Russians to keep quiet. Which is laughable.

They are increasingly transparent NOW because of US request. Does not change the fact about the J-10 deployment.

I am sure Chinese will congratualate themseleves when they made Spey enginese for JH-7 which no one on this world is going to use and even rich country like Britain couldnt maintain it and gave poor performance.

FYI Spey engine also garnered the world land speed record and the British have very high regards with the engine. The Speys belong to the Rolls Royce family which is highly regarded and respected around the world and certainly much better regarded than the RD-33. The Spey engines used to power the RAF F-4 Phantoms for a long time, and current Rolls Royce turbofans is a descendant of this.

400 hrs were its actual life but it does not mean it would crash due unreliability. it is just replacement problem. and M-88 got certification in 1997 15 year later than RD-33 and that with using all latest R&D equipment like superfast computers available to French without that there wouldnt be any M-88. See the difference.

Replacement problem? Make that a frequent replacement problem. That’s like changing the engine every two years. And it is expensive. Reliability can still be questionable because a short engine life means parts that don’t last under the pressure.

Short engine life is acceptable in wartime conditions but in peacetimem, it is extremely expensive in terms of maintenance and upkeeping.

I find this version rather interesting. Unlike KD-63, which has a “terminal man-in-the-loop TV guidiance”, this has an “IIR seeker” (Means fire-And-Forget correct?).

IIR means Imaging InfraRed. It does not disclude that you may still use a man in the loop system. Basically what man in the loop systems does is that you have a weapons officer viewing a TV screen which is broadcasting the images taken from the missile’s camera. The officer picks the target, authorizes and the missile locks on to that image. It does not matter if you are viewing it through pure light or infrared. Light gives you much better image definition, but for night missions, its preferable that you use IIR.

You are such a patently dishonset person.

    http://www.codeonemagazine.com/archi…july2a_95.html
“The engines have been extremely reliable,” commented Raubbach. “It goes from afterburner to military power, without problems, at various speeds and under varying g conditions. I can feel the difference detuning makes only at higher speeds. We have many spare engines. We had a shortage at one time, but we now have a big supply. Engines do not represent a shortcoming for us.”

You are quoting things out of context.

    Here is the complete context.

The Westernization of an Eastern aircraft has presented its own problems. The MiG-29’s powerful Isotov RD-33 engines, designed as disposable commodities for a mass force, were intended to run about 400 hours before they had to be replaced. (By comparison, F-16 engines can run about 4,000 hours between overhauls.) The Germans have managed almost to double the RD-33’s lifespan by detuning the engines by ten percent. Besides lowering thrust, the cost-saving fix has reduced range and dirtied the exhaust at lower altitudes. The move from JP-4 to NATO’s standard fuel JP-8 has also hurt engine performance.

400 hours only? with 10% derating you managed to get it up to 800 hours. Do you know what 10% of derating does? That’s only 7500kg of thrust (same as the Rafale’s engine). But the Rafale’s engine runs with a similar life as most Western engines do, up to 4000 flight hours and do it for a lesser weight.

“The East Germans flew it as a point-defense interceptor, like a MiG-21. They were not allowed to max perform the airplane, to explore its capabilities or their own abilities. Sorties lasted about thirty minutes. The airplane was designed to scramble, jettison the tank, go supersonic, shoot its missiles, and go home.”

Thirty minutes? Wow talk about your range.

The experience confirmed what I knew about the MiG-29’s ability to turn and to fight in the phonebooth. It is an awesome airplane in this regime. The awe, though, fades away after that first turn in.

First turn in? Wow, that shows you about its actual sustained rate is.

U cannot apply Chinese model to Russia. and u dont about other things so no point for u to comment.

bull. There is never a true successful model of what you are describing anywhere in the world, other than the deregulation of AT&T. Chinese model applies, especially when they have more funds, more investment opportunity and an aggressive entrepreneural culture.

I have yet to see a world class civil product come out from Russia’s military industrial complex companies.

Sooner or Later? like K-8/L-15/MBT-2000/ARJ-21 engine or for that matter every helicpoter engine.

K-8 and L-15 uses domestic engines. China’s ZTZ-99, which is superior to the MBT-2000, uses a domestic 1500hp diesel engine.

Observations does not make facts unless u know the numbers built inside the factory or u have official budgetery figures to build each year.

Chinese sources and leaks mentioned the 100 plane threshold was already passed last year.

Non mainland Chinese sources like KANWA are just speculating and has no evidence to back their numbers either.

that could be just deception just like everything else.

Oh you mean like the way the Russians change their serial numbers on the same aircraft and ship so often to inflate their unit numbers?

Except if that is the case, why would the Chinese censor their numbers often?

    u cannot apply averages

And yet the J-11 regiment of the 1st Division does have an aircraft with a bort number of 32. A PLAAF regiment consists of anywhere from 20 to 40 (50) aircraft, with 20 for bombers, and at least 24 for fighters. The Su-27 regiments started with 24, but apparently has gone up.

The Chinese order their planes in regimental sizes, like the 24 Su-30MK2.

They will also congratulate themselves even if they are making MIG-19 and FC-1.

Bull, the Chinese do not congratulate themselves if it is a failed project. If they do this, they would be congratulating themselves on the WS-10 long ago.

For your convenience, videos from the Dogfight episode of modern jet combat in the Middle East are up in Youtube. You can see how Mirage III, superior roll rate but inferior turn rate, just pwns the MiG-17, which has superior turn rate but inferior roll rate.

You’re right, turn rate is only one parameter in agility, but you always treat it like its the ONLY one. You keep forgeting about other factors, such as roll rates and transient performance.

When swing wings are extended forward, they generally produce do not good roll rates. Wings with typically long physical wingspans, including variable wings, cannot put large ailerons that would exert better authority to roll. Wings that are longer in length but shorter in wingspan, allow you to put longer ailerons. Long wingspan also increases lateral stability, hence more resistance to roll, due to both wing pressure. and inertia (more weight outboard of the plane’s centerline). Another factor comes in because the wings are shoulder mounted, which also increases lateral stability, not in the center or below, which decreases lateral stability. For planes that have shoulder mounted wings, they compensate with an anhedral layout (wings canted downward, like in Jaguar and Harrier), and anhedral wings improve roll ratates but swing wing layout forces you to keep the wings flat.

When you don’t have good roll rates, you cannot start a turn quickly, since you have to roll in order to get the position to turn. It also affects you with a whole bunch of BFM like scissors. One of the main centerpieces of the F-16’s agility is its prodigous roll rates (its the fastest in the US inventory), and roll rates also excels in planes like the Mirage 2000, Mirage III, F-5E, A-4 Skyhawk, and not the least, the MiG-21 Fishbed.

For that reason, the MiG-23 prefers to fight with its wings swept back, mostly because it does best in hack and slash attacks but also because it gets the best roll rate that way, even if turn rates are lower.

Another problem with swing wing, is that the position of the swing wing already gives away the plane’s energy state and telegraphs that to the opposing pilot. Thus for an experienced pilot, they would already be figuring out a counter move. Something the Israelis rely on from their Phantoms and Kfirs when they engage the Floggers and VG Fitters.

The Cobra is performed mostly because the Su-27 and MiG-29 have aerodynamic hysteresis, the Su-27 from 35 deg to 60 deg AoA starts having assymetric vortex yaw movements, the assymetric vortices do form and burst at high AoA, nevertheless there is a delay in the reaction, so if the Cobra is achieved is because it lasts very few seconds and in this conditions the assymetric yaw movements do not have enough time to have a real effect in the Su-27 when it performs the Pugachev Cobra.
The LERXes and forebody in both the Su-27 and MiG-29 do generate low preassure vortices that allow a degree of hysteresis when they perform the Pugachev cobra, so if the Eurocanards and J-10 do not show the Cobra means either they have kept it secret or they can not do it

Cobra is a useless tactical maneuver, why would aircraft penalize their design in order to achieve that?

And I told you Eurocanards and J-10 cannot perform the Cobra because their FBW does not permit it, and likely has no provision for FBW override because of their levels of relaxed stability. In fact, unless you have an FBW override, the Russian aircraft with digital FBW cannot do it either.

What’s important is that the ECDs may have superior transient performance; the ability to quickly convert energy/motion/direction state from one to another as these planes are designed around John Boyd’s EM theories.

Now going through the charts. It just looks to me the charts does have one fundamental flaw. One is that it is comparing a design (close coupled canards) tha is quite capable of already generating vortices to a design that does not (delta with tail). Start showing me charts when the aft tail design has a LERX, because LERXed designs are draggier than non LERXed designs.

F-18C is not heavier it is 10900KG empty. and what has turning anything do with TWR power as mentioned by US pilot. Turning has other things like Lack of FBW and MMI.

No, F-18E is a lot heavier. F-18C has a lower TWR than the MiG-29 in paper, but the engine is a lot more reliable.

show me that they were not impressed.

I think you should be the one to prove how the Swedes were ever impressed with the MiG-29 considering how the Gripen beat the MiG-29 in exercises.

Why it lose credibility? They use as much as they want. No Airforce make decisions based on terms. It takes years of flight testing.

Lol. But they’re quoting things to sell. Quoting things to sell without checking the facts behind things (your Tarkshent plant unable to build the IL-76s at the quoted prices, Vorskhov needing another 113 million dollars worth of recabling) is patently dishonest.

Show me the Income tax rates? U dont know wealth measurement. iF Russian private wealth decide. they can buy country like Japan multiple times. U dont know and understand alot of things

BULLSH*T. Russia buy Japan, you;re just completely DELUDED.

It is Japan that can buy Russia multiple times. Once you start factoring total overall wealth, such as values of companies, stocks, and real estates, Japan exceedsd Russia by multiple fold. No Russian company has the resources and values of companies like Sony or Toyota.

that oil is with government. I am thinking that private wealth.

What private wealth? Russians don’t have much private wealth, other than the Russian mafia. Ask any Russian why they want to leave the country and find jobs somewhere else.

so what do u think about US/UK. than who controls that wealth? Just look at Stock market size and than Currency market and than the commodity market.
and why Russian IPOs are coming in London.

Russian IPOs are only coming to London because of their oil wealth. And yet we are not sure about the basis of their accounting papers. They still don’t have that much credibility. US and UK markets are mature, so everything is pretty much maxed out. Excess funds are looking for investment elsewhere. Investing in Russia is considered high risk, because there is no rule of law. Putin says so, Putin does it.

Offcourse they provided the science behind. becuse they went in millions to West before any Asian could even make a Radio by itself. and alot of there science was closed for publications during Soviet times.

Lol, what kind of Russian contributions are to Western science. Did you invent the electric bulb? The steam engine? The internal combustion engine? Did you invent the transistor? Atomic energy? Did you invent the radio? You can go through thousands of inventions, and Russians are quite a minority. Other than Sikorsky, I can’t think of much. Not to mention how Russians copied odles from the West, like Walter Christie’s tank suspension.

And don’t give me that BS that Asians cannot design things. A Chinese immigrant designed Boeing’s first ever unique aircraft in 1916.

which is mostly like fake RollsRoyces.

Guess who were the first to make fake roll royce jet engines.

AL-41 is name of program. and that report is from year 2001. They plan to finish it around 2012 in different form with TWR further increased. they can do interm with 117 AL-31 modification

No certifiable engine again, unless a customer is willing to sign the contract and pay for it.

Because of inefficiencies with the Russian government and armed forces, a lot of money disappears with corruption and excess, overbloated payrolls, because you are not willing to take drastic cuts in manpower. This leaves little money for the procurement of new equipment. Thus many projects like 117 are not sanctioned by the Russian government, but are purely for export purposes.

Man it is not a matter of LERXes or canards only it is a matter that the Cobra is achieved because beside the MiG-29 and Su-27 can reduce significanty the wing stall at high AoA, also they have controlability at yaw, having canards does not mean you have automatically control at Yaw, the X-31 suffered yaw assymetric movements that limited the use of thrust vectoring at high Angles of Attack, the cobra was achieved thanks to the fact they found the Su-27 recovers its self from yaw uncontrolability at high angles of attack, see the Su-27 and MiG-29 do not use thrust vectoring to control forebody vortex assimetry, that can lead to assimetric yaw movement, to do the Cobra you need the airplane to remain controllable at yaw, and the MiG-29 and Su-27 are very controllable at Yaw during the 120 AoA cobra maneouvre.;), and in that can explain why you have not seen any Eurocanard doing the Cobra, and i guess the LERXes and forebody in the MiG-29 and Su-27 have some thing to do in that.

You know, most modern aircraft have highly controllable yaw, thanks to large rudders. The ECDs got huge rudders, and other aircraft are augmented with ventral tail surfaces.

Typhoon has demonstrated very fast, yet very sharp turns and climbs (high AoA even at speed).

I heard that something big is coming out next year, but I thought it would be like some mockup, rather than flying.

Personally I thought that China and CAC would get the most benefit focusing and evolving the single engined J-10 to its fullest potential. Big 10 project is more a statement of sibling competition among firms with the AVIC complex, even cannibalistic if you will, with the sights mainly aimed at the J-11B.

U need Public-Private joint control. Simply private will not work either. Profit motive will destroy public service.

This model has been proven a failure, even in China. Unfortunately the Russian government also tends to be corrupt, and runs like a authoritarian/mafiosi style of regime. They don’t have the guts to drastically reform the armed forces like the way the Chinese did with the PLA in the 90s.

    Just lik RD-93.

Which will be replaced sooner or later.

hangers/Pilots does not constitute actual fighers. u can build more hangers for temprory increase in fighters from other locations.

PLAAF uses makeshift hangers to accomodate extra aircraft from other locations, or simply leave them in the open. For the most part, the number of fixed hangers and the number of aircraft per base is fairly consistent. In fact, there appears to be more aircraft than hangers available. The fact that J-10 no. 26 is already spotted for the 44th Division, whose base has 28 hangers, means its not unfeasible the base has 28 J-10s.

Just single video of flying J-10 in area does not make a whole regiment.

No, but there is also another video and tons of pictures, where J-10s are seen with a high range of bort numbers. 26 to 28 per regiment is probably not the final figure.

A PLAAF division consists of 100 aircraft in average, divided into 3 regiments.

WS-10 will be in trials for the rest of the decade. it does not prove operational capability nor absence of order of AL-31 shows WS-10 mass production.

No. WS-10A is already going into J-11Bs now, and J-11Bs have gone into at least one training regiment. When designer of WS-10A appears in TV, and the staff gets awarded, and you have all sorts of congratulatory and self praising messages from AVIC, that’s usually a strong indication that the system has gone public and serial.

I will not continue on this. Since u have very little understanding.

you have no understanding that converting state owned enterprises does not make highly competitive enterprises. The results from the actual world is against you there.

Read the whole story. Journalist were specifically invited for talk. It is no hearsay.

It does not matter because it will not happen. Its just a wish dream.

Ur assuming that Chinese are continously building J-10s into operational Squardon. u cannot prove even existence 70 J-10s. Kanwa Pinko has interview that I posted that Chinese simply dont have pilots.

The existance of more than 70 J-10s is already proven by regiment location, size of regiment, bort numbers, and number of regiments. Kanwa Pinko is considered not good about Chinese matters, though he is much better in reporting Russian related stuff. One regiment alone has 25 pilots, and another regiment has 28 hangers. Test regiment should have at least 20 aircraft, and 18 has been confirmed.

Sources even from Taiwan has already acknowledged that a fourth regiment is already in Guilin, and a video of a J-10 flying in that area has been posted. A fifth regiment appears to being converted in Shenyang as disclosed by its regimental numbers.

It does not appear that China is going to order more AL-31FNs. May, and no news, and the last of the engines were delivered in september 2006. Message from AVIC officials are indicating that WS-10A may be installed this year. Already photos of new batch of J-10s are starting to appear in forums.

I am not making generalization i am just supporting the Russian and american fourth generation aircraft philosophy based in tailplanes and LERXes.

For example the Pugachev`s Cobra is achieved thanks to the fact the Su-27 and MiG-29 have excellent control of the high AoA asymmetric vortex yawing movement, this and inertia keep the MiG-29 and Su-27 controllable during the Cobra, the Su-27 and MiG-29 with their tailplanes still can do the job to control the aircraft, the MiG-29 and Su-27 still can use the Pugachev cobra in a turn to point their noses, so, the Eurocanards and J-10 still won`t have any real advantage over the LERXed Russian fighters in a turn, the Eurocanards and J-10 might have better instantaneous turn rates and therefore quicker initial turns however their turn rates bleed energy and thanks to the Pugachev Cobra and excellent sustained turn rates they have, the MiG-29 and Su-27 can reduce the initial advantage the Eurocanards have.

Lol. The reason why Pugachev cobra can be done in some planes is because these planes do not have FBW AoA limiters.

Su-27 and MiG-29 are not controllable when they do the Cobra, they are in fact, relying mostly on momentum.

Again, the Eurofighter graph does not show the Su-27 and MiG-29 having superior sustained turn rates to F-15, Rafale and Typhoon. Rather they fall behind. You seem to forget that LERX do add drag and wake over and under the wing area, which is a reason why the F-15, which lacks true LERX, has a high sustained turn rate, along with its high TWR. Also Typhoon and Rafale has very high roll rates (over 250 deg/sec) and I doubt that Su-27 and MiG-29 can match that, as short wingspan deltas tend to have very fast roll rates.

Now Crobato if you are honest any nation having good missiles will erease any superiority, in fact the Equatorian Kfir C10 armed with Python IV can kill a J-10 armed with AA-11 or Python III even despite the J-10 might be better than a F-16 in agility

Which is true. So let’s just build Cessnas and arm them with Python 5.
