Very Nice indeed.
That is what I call comprehensive replies – no doubt about it then.
Many Thanks to all for your help and how I miss those beauties.

I think it’s Fairford in 1985. The attendees list shows 5 German Air Force Starfighters from the same squadron including 26+37 and 25+18

Thanks Tony, there are six in the photo though. So if I can find a list what what was at IAT 83 I could eliminate one or the other. I have lived less than a couple of miles from Greenham for the past 30 years and I am trying to figure out where this section of fence might be. Similarly I know Fairford pretty well having gone there for every airshow camping bar one year and know that fairly well but I can’t figure out where this would be. As I say though I have 11,000 photos mainly of airshows that I have bought and I wonder if the picture is from somewhere else although I cannot imagine a UK airshow other than IAT that would have attracted 6 German Starfighters.
Thanks again

Thanks Black Knight – I thought it might be Greenham as there are quite a few in the batch I have but they are mixed up with numerous other Air Shows as well.
Nice shots – The Jordanian Falcons was well caught. I can never seem to catch those.
Lovely pictures – nice to see somewhere different.
Stu,
Please check your PMs again.

Very nice indeed. The first and last shots really stand out among all the photos I have seen on RIAT this year. Getting a different angle seems to make all the differerence to making a picture really stand out.

Lovely pictures – thanks for posting them.
Thank you Grey Area. The photo is taken from the road that ran by the base – wonderful opportunities in those days.
Very nice indeed
I thought the evening shots were good. The lighting even makes the Easyjet look good!
Why would spotters or photographers be there at that time of night? Sounds like an excuse to clamp down on what limited viewing possibilities there are.
Of course an easy group to lay the blame on, to blame anyone else without evidence would invite repercussions.
Excellent shots there Robert and some of the cropping gives a totally different perspective. In some of them you would have to work at it to recognise it as Glasgow. Its always good to see something fresh like this.
