Aerovet – PH-TEF – good piece of detective work on the name. I have numerous pictures which I am just scanning in – it all takes time but there are a couple of Constellations which I will start a seperate thread with as it is obviously different subject matter to this thread.
Yes I would agree that PH-TEF looks possible. It’s a long way from home thats for sure although I read over another forum that someone had flown in one to South America as a young boy and had his Junior KLM Log Book signed by the Captain.
WIEESO – they are lovely shots. I have to confess I expected my original query to be done and dusted within 10 Nanoseconds by your good self!
I have just had a number of pictures made up from negatives that my father took in the 1950s and will post one on a new thread in a couple of tics of a KLM CV 240 which I never knew they flew.

Newforest & Gooney Bird – G-AIKN it is! And the answer within 10 minutes of putting it on the forum! Many Thanks to you both. The photo which belongs to a friend of mine was taken in Southern Rhodesia. I will have to see if I can borrow it to scan and put on the forum.

Very helpful thank you both. The photo must have been taken in 1949 as he was working in Nigeria by 1950. It also makes the airport Shannon. The lady must have been an Air Hostess.
Fantastic Shot! More please if they are available.
What on earth is a non Jumbo??
Anything that is not a Jumbo! 😀
Again thanks for posting Aggy. We shall have to work on this 747 obsession you seem to have!!

Very Nice Aggy, thanks for sharing. I will have to make the haul up there sometime! 😉

How I long for the return of the Middle Wallop Airshow. For me it was one of the best shows around.
Welcome to the forum Aggy – It’s nice to have a bit of glamour on board (the Forum!) 😀
luverly juberly shots.
Nice shots Kevin – I have yet to see this beast in the flesh.
Excellent photos and the quality of participants is very high, however I must correct you – it is probably the second best big airshow in Europe. The Jewel in the Crown is at a certain place in Gloucestershire 😀
These shots bring back some memories! Thanks for posting.
Robert – What a most interesting and unusual shot the bottom picture is. It just goes to show that no matter how many times you take a picture of the same subject there is always room for a fresh perspective. Certainly one of the best Edinburgh pictures I have seen. Thanks for posting.
