Very good shots Hamburger. I just wish I had the time and money to travel more. I imagined all those Baltic countries to be seedy and run down – full of old communist style tower blocks. I never knew they had a queen of Lithuania either 😀

I bought a DVD the other night called “The Swimming Pool” which has a French actress in it called Ludivine Sagnier. What I thought was going to be a passable film with Charlotte Rampling as an ageing novelist turned into a trip into the deepest recesses of my sordid imagination. Highly recommended if you like beautiful young blonde women behaving like nymphomaniacs (which I do).

Thats because they are taught Oxford enlish which is english with absolute grammatical and phonetic precision. I’m not saying that british english isn’t correct, just that the majority speak it with some form of accent just as americans have their local accents.

When I lived in Edinburgh I was told by more than one person that the clearest English was spoken by people from the Inverness area. I don’t know if thats true as I don’t think I ever met anyone from Inverness whilst I was there.
As for some American words being different to ours I remember 2 friends of mine from the States who were living in Edinburgh. The wife had a job with an insurance company and at the Christmas party she arrived out a freezing cold Edinburgh night and said to the people who greeted her (average age mid fifties) that she was so cold she was going to go and “warm her fanny on the radiator” which was greeted with a shocked silence.:p

Thats excellent news Kabir. I would like to see some pics from airports like Goa and Chennai as well as Delhi and Mumbai.
    BAA should take note.
I wonder if the Saudi government will lift the ban on photos at Jeddah (LOL):D

I don’t know about Virgin Atlantic but I flew Virgin from Heathrow to Hong Kong some time ago and I have to say it was a very pleasant flight with attentive crew. It was a 5 day trip booked with Virgin holidays which I felt was good value for money at 500 odd quid including the flight and a nice hotel.
Hope you have a good flight anyway.
