Is there not a registrationlist which spitfire missions flew out to the west of Holland Near Amsterdam/Schiphol at March 3, 1943?

Thanks for the info. I realise it is hard to find out. I underestimate
    this….
My intention is not to contact the crewmembers and to accused them. No, i just am interested for my own information. So i just hoped someone here could help me further. But i did underestimate that it is hard to find out.

More information about the plain i do not have….So that will make it harder to find out unfortunately

Thanks for your help and time anyway!

    Thanks for your reply!
The witness told me: “in was a English bomber” “in the early morning, at 9am”
“There was no fire after the impact only damage because of the airpressure”.
“There were 2 people at work in the kitchen, both people did not survice the impact” (I think the were making the breakfast?)

That is what the witness told me….Problably 9am, could be 7am?

The witness also told me:”some people were still in bed during the impact”

Does anyone have any suggestions to know more about this?

    Hello,

I am working at a website about the surroundings of Schiphol (Haarlemmermeer). So A witness told me the above story. That is why i want to find out which bomber problably is responsible for this accident?

I hope someone can help me.

The website will be ready at may 2012 (first in English, maybe later in English)

I do not think it was lightning strike….because the picture description is:”Wald brand durch abgesch. lightning”. Than means: “Forest Fire by shot Lightning”

Then again, it may be just a poor translation -> forest fire due to lightning strike?

    Yes, that is also possible:)

Thanks for the info so far.

I have an old photo taken in “Doorn”
The photo shows a small forest-fire.
Some german soldiers are standing and look to the fire.
    The discription is: “Crashed Lightning”
Maybe some other airplaine is crashed in the area of Doorn?

I think if it was realy a Lightning, you all should have know that.
So i think the info on the photo is not right….

What they are saying is that you apparently own ONE copy of the photograph. Other people apparently own other copies of it.

    Who has the original negative?

Maybe it is better to prove me that someone else have the negative….
Or an copy of the photograph.
At least I already have an real photo from the ’40

So untill you prove me I am not the only one, I think this discussion is closed!

(this was my last reaction on this off-topic waste….I can use my time better that this…)

Don’t take it personally…..we should be more gentle with our new members

    …how about it guys!

    Just stay on topic….
And if someone likes, he must open an topic about copyrights…..

    Vincent,

I think what people are pointing out that you put “(c) Vincent van Rijn” over your photograph.

I think I understand why you did it – so that you could show people to ask the question without allowing anyone else using the picture themselves without asking you. This is totally understandable.

I think the confusion is that you’ve marked the photo as being copyright to you when in fact, legally you do not own the actual “copyright”. That would be he held by the original photographer or the person they were employed by at the time.

Anyway I think maybe it’s a case of things getting lost in translation 🙂

The best advice is that when posting pictures that you don’t want other to use, simply put a few red lines or other pattern across it so that it would be hard to reproduce and just not your name on it. Putting the copyright word or symbol on a picture you don’t actually own copyright too could get you into all sorts of legal trouble.

I have the photo here, so what is the problem?
Let them prove me, that the copyrights belong to someone else.
    Then I will remove it…..
Until that, I do not see the problem….

Yes, and you also WANT information from other people so you can use it in YOUR publication.

For what it’s worth I have seen that picture more than once on Ebay.

    Peter

Whats your problem? The copyrights was from the begin on the picture in this topic. So if that was a problem to help me with information….Why did you give your help anyway? I do not understand that…..

Like I said, everyone can have an digital file of my photo. Just mail me…..
But I do not want to place my photo on the internet without my name…..

I have the photo here. So I do not know what the problem is?
    This all is off-topic……

I do not say that no one can get the photo.
But I do want to know what is happening with my Photo and where it will be published.

So if someone realy want this picture without my name on it. Just mail me…..
I only want to know what your will do with my picture. So I know it is ok by me. If you want to publish it on a site of somewhere els, no problem, but I do want to know where and I want my name below the picture as owner. Seems fair to me….
