    Was it a one off.

    HI

Looks as though it was a Manchester divert. Flyjet’s MAN based aircraft is currently Tec. So all the PAX were bussed over to LBA from MAN to jump onto a Channex B757-200 which has been chartered by Flyjet to operate the flight today to Rhodes

    Hi

Well here’s another intresting movement due LBA tomorrow Morning according to the live arrivals on the LBIA website. An Iberworld Airways Aircraft is due into LBA at 0615 from Brussels as the IWD0661.

So anyone got a clue what this is coming to LBA for?? I’m guessing that its Is a replacement aircraft to AEU again.

I do know that they are due to operate the weekly ACE-LBA-ACE service this summer which use to be operated by LTE for the past couple off years on a thursday afternoon.

Looking at the following it looks like Jet2 are to try and Wet Lease a MD87, anybody know what this is to be used for and where it maybe based??

    Hi Allan

The swedish MD87, SE-RBA will be coming to jet2’s LBA base on Monday, 8th May 2006. She is set to replace the B737-300 N672FH which is on a short term lease only until Monday May 8th.

The MD87 is currently staying at LBA until a least June 30th 2006, Which is when the 3rd and 4th Boeing 757-200’s G-LSAC/D and the latest Boeing 737-300, G-CELO should have been delivered to Jet2.com

He’ll be better with an Boeing 767 Aircraft if He is considering operating out off LBA Short Runway 32/14 Compered to the Airbus A300 or the larger A330.

This has been proven by both Thomsonfly flying direct to Bridgetown-Barbados direct and Swefly operating to Lahore with a good load off Cargo.

Just another Thought. Which UK airports are we talking about actually. The likes of MAN, LGW, BHX and LHR or the smaller airports like LBA,NCL,BRS and so on????

LBARULES WROTE: I have no idea what operated the outbound Reus, as the inbound disappeared from the schedules, which I suppose is understandable, doubt there would have been many people returning from Reus today!

This mornings LBA-Reus flight was in fact all acounts operated by one of Astraeus’s own Boeing 757-200’s which posistioned in from Manchester late last night about 23:55.

On her return to the UK today, Empty. She was sent back to base down at London Gatwick. So like Tom says the Blueline MD83 (F-GMLK) has in fact only operated the LBA-CWL-FUC-CWL-LBA sectors this afternoon. By the way she is defintley coming back to LBA with Passengers later this evening.

Guess what turned up at LBA this morning??

Another new Leased aircraft for Jet2.com’s. And It’s in the shape of A Boeing 737 (N672FH) belonging to Futura Int’l. It looks as though she’s going to be based here at LBA for a little while.

Also at LBA this morning was a Blueline MD83 (F-GMLK) Operating for Astraeus today on the Morning Reus flight and this afternoon’s Funchal/Cardiff service.

Well you quick! 5 days later you notice The Thomsonfly aircraft operating tomorrows Iceland day trip.

    Guess what????????

She’s also LBA’s based aircraft for the first couple of weeks of the summer 20O6 programme. So she’ll was planned to sit on the deck at LBA until Monday morning. But Transun Day trips have hired her out for the day on Saturday. She is due operate the first revenue summer 06 flight to Palma-Mallorca on Monday

So on Sunday afternoon they will be/Should be two Thomsonfly aircraft on the deck at LBA. One doing nothing (Based Unit) While a MAN Based unit will operate the afternoon MAN-AGP-LBA-AGP-MAN rotations.

The summer 07 Thomsonfly LBA programme is now on sale.

The good news is that they are still basing an aircraft at LBA in summer 07 operating a total of 13 weekly flights. One New destination has been added. Gerona-Barcelona which serves the Costa Brava region off spain.

The Bad News is that this flight replaces the Saturday afternoon Malaga flights. So Thomsons have dropped Malaga-Costa Del Sol from LBA. This has probally got something to do with Jet2,s twice daily service. Also the Astreaus weekly sunday flight for My Travel/Airtours.

    LBA based aircraft weekly programme.
