    FCA552F shown as arriving from Luton Monday am. What’s the F suffix stand for. Is it a Freight Flight – FCA dont operate from LBA on a Monday.

    Hi the First Choice Airways Aircraft positioning flight FCA552F operating inbound to Leeds/Bradford from London Luton was a night stopping aircraft. She is due to operate a Iceland day trip tomorrow for Transun Holidays.

    Went up today for the Thomsonfly 757, never saw it move, when I came home both that and a Jet2 757 came over my house within minutes of each other

    The Thomsonfly B757-200 on yesterday afternoon was running late due to missing slot on inbound Leg from AGP. It was then worked out that if the same crew had operated the Outbound and Return to its UK base the crew would have been out off hours. So it was decided by Thomson’s to bring in a new flights crew from its DSA base to operate the next sector.

    So the aircraft couldn’t go anywhere until the crew had arrived from DSA hence the 4-hour delayed departure from LBA. Note This wouldn’t Happen in the summer season. From next Monday Thomson will have based flight crew at LBA again.

    Hi

    Amsterdam, Dutch Beer and Schiphol Airport,KLM, & Martin Air what more would you want. I’ll be up for that, I think.

    How about Dusseldorf Guys. All acounts it’s got two great spotting decks and that german beer sound like it’s really nice. It’s cheap as well from Leeds in July or August. £7.99p one-way with Jet2.com on a B757-200.

    Not sure where you’ve heard about LGW getting dropped down to two flights a day either. All three services to/from LGW will be operating this summer, apart from at the weekends and the on the odd Monday or two.

    Hi HON 1R

    I just went and looked in the Jet2.com booking system and it was only showing 2 flights daily for this week and Next.

    I,m guessing it might be something to do with the quite Easter period on domestic flights and with it been in between to Bank holidays. Your right in saying it dose in fact go back up to 3 daily from May 2nd 2006.

    Also not forgetting Jet2 new routes and changes for summer 2006 at MAN.

    Ibiza = 5 times weekly
    Rome = 5 times weekly
    London Gatwick = Now operated by BAe 146 of Flightline.

    Also New 1 X B757-200 Based Aircraft.

    But the Manchester – Venice Marco Polo service has been dropped altogether along with 1 of the 3 times daily flights to Amsterdam, Gatwick and Edinburgh.

    Don’t you also lose the Malaysian service at the end of this month too??

    By the way Guys i’m not having a dig at you MAN Lot, ok??
