    New Ibiza Flight replaces Varna

    Hi

Guess what. Thomsonfly have replaced the weekly Bulgaria-Varna wednesday flight with a brand new Ibiza wednesday flight operated by the based summer 2006 aircraft. While the Friday Turkey-Dalaman service has also been dropped and replaced by the new Palma flight. While has previously been said.

    The LBA-Ibiza Operates as follows:

Flight TOM6123 15:05 Depart Leeds Bradford, 18:35 Arrive Ibiza

Flight TOM6124 19:35 Depart Ibiza, 21:10 Arrive Leeds Bradford

The New LBA-Palma friday flight is still on sale on there website at http://www.thomsonfly.com along now with the Dalaman flight again. The only reason i said Dalaman had been dropped cause when i first looked i was’nt in the booking system at that time.

    Fri, 21 Jul 06
Flight BY 3511 16:15 Depart Leeds Bradford (LBA)
    19:15 Arrive Palma Mallorca (PMI)

    Fri, 28 Jul 06
Flight BY 3561 21:30 Depart Palma Mallorca (PMI)
    22:30 Arrive Leeds Bradford (LBA)

So Palma is defently a new service by the looks off things. But it can’t be operated by the Based aircraft. So whats the guessing these flight times change and that we get a W-leged Thomsonfly B737 operating it instead.

Well things have change since this afternoon’s annoucement from Me.

Just took another look on the thomsonfly website and Leeds – Dalaman is back in the booking system and is still operated by the based aircraft.

Heres the following details on the http://www.thomsonfly.com website

    Fri, 14 Jul 06
Flight BY 3193 16:15 Depart Leeds Bradford (LBA)
    22:25 Arrive Dalaman (DLM)

    Fri, 21 Jul 06
Flight BY 3194 23:25 Depart Dalaman (DLM)
    01:50 Arrive Leeds Bradford (LBA)

So it might be a second aircraft at LBA on Fridays from Thomsonfly to operate these two evening flights.

Thomson Holidays have dropped there planned Firday summer 06 flights to Turkey Dalaman from Leeds/Bradford Airport. It was only in November when they announced that they were dropping the planned Turkey-Bodrum service. So this summer thomsonfly won’t operate any flights to turkey for the first time in a long time.

The Friday Dalaman service has been replaced with yet another weekly flight down to Palma-Majorca. This new 4th weekly flight leaves LBA every friday at 16:15 as the TOM3511 and returns back to LBA at 22:30 as the TOM3561.

The Palma service is aslo been branded as one off Thomsonflys new high frequency scheduled low cost routes routes. So this represents Thomsonflys first scheduled service from Leeds/Bradford Airport.

great stuff nice to see the jet2 757`s about any idea where they were flying to today

Jet2’s B757 G-LSAA came in to LBA on a training callsign as the Channex 100T while the other B757 G-LSAB was working the scheduled Tenerife Flight as the Channex 223.

    Hope this helps
