    Just found out that Air Southwest have compertition on the Manchester – Newquay service. bmi baby are lanuching a daily direct service operated by Boeing 737’s

    Where as the Air Southwest service will be going via Cardiff. I wonder who will win this battle

    Heres Northwest Airlines DC10-30 Departure shots from Edinburgh bound for Chicago. Yhee I know they don’t do this for real, But i thought I’ll try that new Edinburgh scenery I downloaded from avsim.com. Seems to be the same as T5’s seen above. I’ll post the landing shots when i finish this flight tomorrow afternoon. Its getting a bit late now. Still have 6 Hours 10 mins to run acording to the GPS system.

    By the way, Wozza this DC10-30 is a FS2004 Model only. It won’t work in FS2002. Sorry mate.

    N808NW, yes its a 717, although really its an MD-95. in the real world, the aircraft was designed by MD, but boeing took on the design when they bought MD, updated it a fair bit, and renamed it the 717. probably one of the reasons why the 717 wasn’t very successful – was an old design.

    anyway, the FS model is SGA if you’re interested.

    I,ve got the Jet City Modeled Boeing 717 in Hawaiian cols. JCA models (Jet City Aircraft) are normally payware but there did the B717 for free. Downloaded it from Avsim website. Theres one problem though with it, Theres is no Pannel with this model included. You got to use the default B777 pannel

    That SGA model looks just as good though. Has that model got a customised Pannel or not?? If yes, where can you download it from??

    Heres some shots on a short canery island hop. Flew the IDFG modeled Airbus A321 Spanair from Arrcife to Tenerife South. Only took about 45 mins from take off to landing.

    Heres my landing shots from last nights Barbados flight into LBA

    Landed on runway 14 at LBA, 03:47 GMT this morning. I did manage to stay a wake all night to do the landing. Only just mange to pull myself out of bed tho and have a full english breakie. I was kept a wake dy watching a film, The Core, on Sky Movies.

    Just into my first long haul flight from Barbados to Leeds/Bradford with a the Thomsonfly B767-200 G-BRIG.

    Anyway here are the first couple of pics taken on departure and about 1 hour 30 mins into my cruise at 37,000ft. I’m going to continue rest of the flight over night hopefully making a early arrival into LBA. ETA at the moment looking somewhere between 03:30 & 04:00 GMT.

    Just operated the first ski series flight from Leeds down to Chambery in my Astraeus B757-200.

    Astraeus Are flying B757-200 into Chambery for real this winter. All I,m going to say its one big drop down the valley on that final approach to the ILS runway 18.
