The chemical used for rainmaking are harmful to the aircraft structure so the crew needs to clean all aircraft right after they landed by spraying water.

And Photo #4. The sky on that they was very beautiful so the colored smoke was just great to look at.

The smoke, the rainmaking chemical, was actually released by hand by crews who normally release rainmaking chemical in the rainmaking mission. They release those chemical under 3G force.

After that they managed to land.
4 Photos consecutively. Photo #1.

2 of them make a 3G turn to left and right.

Cockpit view.

They create the heart in which another 2 Caravan will fly in the middle to create the arrow. Just like the ‘Flaming Heart’ of RSAF Black Knight but Green Hawk do it horizontally because Caravan can not do the fancy loop like the jetfighter. :p

Regroup again.

Another formation. Just see 4 photos in the row.

And make a turn to enter the show site.

To be hornest. I forget what maneuver pattern they flew. The pilot said to me before flight that they will fly 4 patterns but I lost my note that I wrote down.

Air-to-air shot during the display.

This is the chemical for rainmaking process.

Normally these chemical are white so you needs to add some color to produce red and yellow smoke.

Crews load them into the cabin just like when they making the rain.

My friends had managed to get on board with the Green Hawk. I stay on the ground took the photo of the whole formation.

All of Caravans are taking off, 2 at a time.

USD 233 million for 24 Vipers??? Is it a typo (unlikely) or some kind of advance payment?
Read from somewhere (Sorry I can not remeber) that those 233 million USD is just the order of the core material to begin building F-16.
The will pay more to get the complete jet.
Interesting to see how it will going. Hope they can find the first export costomer soon. 🙂
