F-5E with “T” designator is previously mentioned on some RTAF news source when they refer to Israeli-upgrade F-5E/F. It’s not as extensive upgrade as SAF’s F-5S/T. The name “T” might be called only in RTAF but name Tigres is somehow official. It’s ambiguity. Ummmm. I think I should call it “F-5E Tigres”. 🙂
The Engine Sound is nice.
Goodbye Sir!
Peacemaker prepare for flight.
The wind from rotor almost kill me.

Hope you will enjoy.

The Python-4 pic is still top secret.
L-39. 401 Sqn. Wing 4 Takhli.
They can equip wtih AIM-9P and NATO-standard bomb.
Thailand already sent our pilot to evaluate those L-159B. But we might not buy them in several years to come due to the fact that we still flying 36 overhualed L-39 ZA/ART and 20 Alphajet A, and the more important things, we still under the coup!!!
Burmese’s MiG-29
i was wondering about the Mig-29’s. how many are in the airforce.
They has 10 MiG-29B in their inventory. Some rumor in my country states that all jet were grounded due to the maintaince difficulty.
Moreover, they try to buy Malaysian 13 MiG-29N which will be grounded in this year due to the lack of pilot to fly MKM. The total cost is around, if I remember it correctly, about 250 m$. but they still don’t have enough fund now.
Nothing cheerful at all, the problem still lies on how come a couple of battalions can be so effective and so easy in reining a country’s power. Considering that country with dozens of million people and all the pain taking procedure to create a people selected government, the people endorsed power can be gone I presence of a couple of obsolete Tanks and one or 2 battalions influenced by a general.
Hey, although none of business, just don’t feel comfortable
It’s doesn’t mean I do feel comfortable about it. If I can choose, I’ll should the democratic way. But the military doesn’t want it that way.
Hopefully, all carzy thing will end bloodlessly. (We have the situation like this and end blooded for 3 time.)
For now, I think we should forget about F-16, Su-30, or Gripen for a while. “Especially, F-16”
The media is in control now. I can’t say much.
The situation is very clam. No one die. No shot have been fired. You can even take the photo with the tank.
the constitution, whcich is we try to build since Bloody Black May in 1992, is revoke. The military pormise to hand back the power to the poeple in the democracy way, I still doubt that, but we should wait and see.
It’s nothing with the religion of Army cheif.
BTW, The situation is very clam. No one die. No shot have been fired. You can even take the photo with the tank.
Man, It’s nothing with the King too. But undenyably seem like he is the only one who could stop, if it’s would happen, the chaos.

Myanmar doesn’t have MiG-17 in their inventory. What they had is….
10 MiG-19B/UB
40 F-7M
6 FT-7
32 A-5C
(Still confuse. Some source say 36 F-7/FT-7 and 24 A-5C)
10 G-4
2 FT-6
12 K-8
15 PC-7
9 PC-9
18 Mi-2
4 Y-8D
3 Fokker F.27
4 Fairchild FH.227
6 Cessna 180
5 PC-6
1 Cessna Citation II
30 PT – 6A
4 Beechcraft…
10 W – 3 Sokol
12 Mi – 17
12 Bell – 205A – 1
1 Bell – 212
6 Bell – 206 B
5 SA – 316 B
But the actual number might be lower than this due to accident and loss in cambat. (My friend said all of their MiG-29 are grounded)
Why you say that? And how come you are so certain that the US won’t sell the Eagle to Thailand?
If Singapore is allowed to buy the F-15, why the US will not sell the Eagle to Thailand? Esp since Thailand, and not Singapore, is designated as a ‘major non-NATO ally (MNNA)’ to the US ?
Care to elaborate? Thanks
I recall that we used to propose to buy Pop eyes form Israel but US is object the proposal.
And we used to request sale of Sea Sparrow many year ago but Congress block the sale.
You can not compare to Singapore.
In fact, I still wonder why US has a double standard “on selling weapon” between Thailand and Singapore.
PS. I’am not anti-america guy.
Well, the F-15 if they can afford it.
No. We can not afford it. And for sure!! US won’t sell to us. (Thailand)
I doubt Thailand would choose the Sukhoi – I certainly would not trust reports from the factory (they seem to have a habit of announcing wins before the deals are done). The Sukhoi is a much bigger aircraft than Thailand needs, and would cost a lot to run (all weapons stockpiles are of western weapons, and pilots are trained on western types). The most likely choice would be the Gripen, which is cheap and rugged, and seemed to be offered with a Saab AEW platform, which would be useful. The other option would be more F-16s, to supplement the existing fleet, which would be easy to integrate into the force structure, the downside being that it does not come with a sweetener like an AEW platform.
I agree with you. Since we’re rely on NATO standard, buying and operating Su-30 could cost much more money to install and establish the new support system. Sukoi is not coomplatible with our system.
Chicken…..Ummm I don’t know. Someone might think that this is some kind of joke story. But what choice do we have since we do not have an old well in the backyard to earn much money. What we have is just a eatable food. And our F-5 need to decommision. So we need the new jet.
btw. Russia and Sweden is accept our chicken proporsal. US as well. (their embassador said that)
May be the russian’s selling tactic. Because RTAF doesn’t decide to choose whether Gripen or Su-30 or F-16 yet. Given the current political crisis, the decision would be made by new government which would be set up after the october’s election.
